Nicely priced products friendly staff,2 shops one on parsonage and one in Bradshaw gate,compared to Asda there are saving to be made here,Kellogs rice Krispies £1.99,compared to Asda £2.50.Birds Brandy Sauce £1.89 compared to £2.00 at Asda.Aftersaying that I have noticed one thing you can get from Asda that is cheaper then any other Supermarket around and that is believe it or not a 300g Jar of Nescafé Coffee for £5.00 or if your daft enough you can get a 200g one for £4.50.do the math's.Be quick cos these 300g jars retail at £6.00 and £7.00 at Asda(they vary the price every few week) probably depending on the sale of the £6 jar sell good for a couple of wk,then put the price up to £7.00.

I worked at this shop for 5 years and overall it was the worst experience of my life. The store manager is emotionally controlling and abusive. Her team of managers over the years have also been emotionally abusive and gotten away with that. There's bullies on the fill shift, who think they are superior to others and have very sharp tongues. Working in this store has had an impact on my mental health and I will need counselling to cope with the trauma I went through there. Please don't apply to work a this store, they will go home heartbroken and defeated every night. Don't send your teenagers to work here, they will be judged from the moment they start on as little as how they appear and be spoken to like a dog. To customers its an amazing shop, but look closer, employees have suffered here and probably still are and are too scared to speak up.

We was at home bargains Leigh yesterday 18/9/23 at about 5.30pm . My granddaughter Ava was looking for a gift for someone we asked an amazing lady to help us to find a small teddy . She went above and beyond to help my granddaughter she was so lovely and patience with her she tried her best to suggest other gifts. She was the most loveliest lady . I so wish I could put her name to this but I think she will know who she is as she loved my granddaughters name . Thank you for your help

Some good prices compared to supermarkets. Often busy and chaotic if you go at the wrong time. Good prices on toilet roll and kitchen roll DIY batteries and pet toys.

Standard home bargains shop, nothing much you can add really. Sells stuff cheaper than the main supermarkets. Always a good stop for toiletries.

One of the reasons is that the music they play is, whenever I've been in at least, is what I'd call 'real' music. The last time I was in I heard American Pie by Don McLean, and not just the shorter version. Other than that they have bargains on branded goods, which seem to stay a lot longer than other discount stores. This is not just the one site: I think every time I've gone into a Home Bargains store I've heard something out of the ordinary. My partner prefers the one in town, saying it's got a nicer range, but I think that's a bit more crowded so I go to this one.

Toys cheap and nasty. Bought granddaughter a squeezy toy which broke within 15 mins. Was very brittle. Recommend you go elsewhere even if more expensive

Went into home bargains this morning in Leigh, which I don’t often shop, after being served my items, one of the staff very kindly offered her help with stuff as I had bought more items than went in with. Hats off to Emma for her excellent customer service definitely be going there again. ??

Lots of parking. Other shops around it for fast food as well. Has sanitiser and basket/trolley wipes at the entrance. Wheelchair accessible. Sells a great range of products from personal care to washing liquid for clothes and dishes. Lamps, soft furnishings. Some food items and alcohol. Pet products, vape oil and some small vape pens. Reading glasses, make up...! A bit of everything really at cheap prices. Can be a little overcrowded, especially as Covid19 is still a problem in the area. Could do more to make sure baskets are clean. Only issue I have is sometimes baskets are still a little dirty. Apart from that the place is clean. Nice friendly, helpful staff.

I would like to say a big Thank you to Shirley joint a member of staff at the Home bargains retail park leigh as she went above and beyond when she saw my plea on Facebook for help with a crown that had come out and i had been trying for week's to get hold of the toofypegs crowns repair kit which was sold out everywhere and some sites selling for up to £15. Not only did she message me when you had a delivery of some but she also put it to one side till i could collect it. A credit to the store..
