I did my advanced aesthetics courses at Jessica Megan Studios and had a brilliant time. Our course tutor was Lisa and I can't thank her enough. I arrived nervous and Lisa immediately put me at ease and filled me with confidence. I've learned a lot from her, Jessica Megan Studios is very lucky to have her! There was so many models it was non stop, so much practice in all the areas we were qualifying in. Also big thanks to Robyn for organising the models! If I could change one thing it would have been to received a welcome type email with the course details, studio details and what time to arrive ect. This is 100% a me thing as I'm a little neurospicy and end up checking details a million times to make sure I know what I'm doing/where I'm going. However, when I needed additional information about the course after I booked the team got back to me quickly by instagram DM or on the phone! I've left feeling confident and ready to add the new treatments to my clinic. Thank you to everyone at Jessica Megan Studio, I would love to come back for more training in the future and will be happily recommending to my practitioner friends. P.s.Make sure you get a photo with the carousel horse!

Well after going through a bad training experience I decided to do my advanced training in Jessica studio and it was just amazing ! Lisa was responsible for our training and she was soo helpful and super kind. You can get loads of models to work with and they were all fabulous I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to start in aesthetics or upgrade their skills i would defo go back for my future trainings. ❤️

Just got home from doing my advanced aesthetics here with Carla. I don’t know where to start!! What a place!! The training was phenomenal, in-depth, extremely knowledgeable. So so many models. Carla went above and beyond. So pleased I went to train here, left so confident in what I was doing, why I was doing it. Iv just finished my Advance Botox and filler course.. trained by Lisa ..who is just the most lovely down to earth teacher ever??? .. I honestly never thought I’d enjoy face contouring as much as I did .. Lisa taught in a way that I really understood and now feel incredibly confident to get started building My client base knowing I can offer all my treatments safely with unbelievable results ?? and the salon is just stunning such a great place to train .. I would highly recommend .. also the holiday inn in Leigh ofter discount when your training and the hotel was so close and clean ?? was well worth the 5 hour drive ???? xxx

I’ve trained with Jessica Megan studios on the pick and mix course. I chose 5 courses and was told it will be 2 days training with atleast 4 models for each treatment. Although it’s a lovely salon and the girls are lovely you can tell it’s quick money for them. I won’t train in any treatment until I’m 100% confident I know most of the theory and have researched extensively, so although I have left there feeling confident I don’t think it’s down to their training but my own research, I would say their training is less than adequate for new injectors. My training was all crammed into 1 day and by the sounds of it they had no intention of doing it over 2 days which is really frustrating as I’d booked and payed for a hotel to stay overnight, booked 2 days off from my full time job and drove 5 hours to get to the salon. If I knew it was over 1 day I wouldn’t have trained here and looked to train elsewhere as foundation & advanced dermal fillers are 2 day courses alone let alone the extra stuff I added. I was promised a min of 4 models per treatment, I done half a tear trough, 5 lips, although I chose 2 techniques so technically should have done 10 lips, 1 set of cheeks, 1 jaw and didn’t touch a nose or chin just watched. I wasn’t given any course manuals on the day or any offer of some after support. My trainer was a nurse and to be honest I’d be worried if she was my injector, there was no mention of any facial arteries, where they are or the nerves/muscles of the face, her anatomical knowledge was poor in my opinion and is the basics for injectables training. So overall If you’re looking for somewhere to train and don’t feel confident in what you already know or are a complete beginner I’d be looking to train somewhere else, as if I was looking again I wouldn’t chose to train here which is a shame.

We had unlimited models to practice on and the course was very well planned out to get the best out of our 6 days training. I recently trained at Jessica Megan Studios on the ultimate career course and I couldn’t reccomend it enough! Lisa was my trainer and she is absolutely fantastic, she made us all feel so comfortable and really made sure we felt comfortable doing practical in every aspect of the training. We were a group of 8, Lisa went through everything thoroughly and made sure she kept asking if we felt ok and confident with each treatment and if we didn’t we could have another go at doing practical until we felt comfortable with it. All of our questions were answered and nothing was too much! The course is very intense but absolutely brilliant. Everyone at the studio was so nice and helpful too. If I choose to train in anything further in the future I will definitely be going back here! ?

I attended the course in June 2023 and did the ultimate career bundle which is supposedly 3 courses in 1 spread over 6 days. I’d been researching training providers for a long time and felt like this was great value. Arriving at the course on the Monday all the other girls were buzzing and so motivated and enthusiastic the energy and atmosphere was amazing. Carla was a fantastic tutor and we got stuck straight into practical work that afternoon. Halfway through the course we all seemed to realise that we starting to skim over certain areas of the course and literally not touching other aspects. For me in particular I really wanted to learn rhinoplasty and tear trough dermal filler and after doing our models for lips, chin cheeks and jaw it became clear to us all that we were not going to be covering these areas along with some other listed on the course like advanced Botox, PROFHILO body, nasolabiol folds, marrionette lines mircorneedling in terms of different depths of needle, 9 point face lift and LED facials (which has now been removed from the course content although it wasn’t at the time of my training) and PRP injections. All of these things were listed and but we received no practical training on any of these areas no models nothing. It started to become clear that they had over promised and under delivered. Don’t get me wrong Carla was a really good trainer but it was very apparent that there was not enough time to provide practical training for all the things we were supposed to learn and instead we were given a booklet to take home with a little bit of information about some procedures very basic I may add and then via WhatsApp some further leaflets again basic on how to do advanced Botox but no demonstrations or models. I then paid an additional £200 to do elective dissolve and was sent the information via WhatsApp. I received certificates for all the things listed on the course however because I had not done models for certain procedures decided to do additional training in these areas as I was told I wouldn’t be covered by insurence if I had not actually learned to do the treatment practically. The fact I did eventually receive all by certifications from Jessica Megan dispute this concerning. Doing my additional training allowed me to totally reflect on the training I received at Jessica Megan and realise that there is a lot of room for improvement. Firstly I think they need to either allocate more time for this particular course or remove some of things they say you will learn. The quality is better than quantity. Secondly you are added to a group with Carla however Carla leaves the group about 14 days later, so no lifelong support. I understand that she is in a lot of groups but our group at that stage were not messaging really and when did need some clarification she had gone like a ghost! Some common courtesy and respect would have been appreciated (just the decent thing to do considering that’s what your told you’ll get) luckily for me I have the support of the other training provider I used should I need it who is always supporting her students should they need it, but unfortunately unlike me so of the other amazing ladies on my course haven’t had that. Lastly once we had finished our course we did not receive all of our certificates and was told they would be sent out to us. I had to chase for over 2 months for mine to be sent as I live 200 miles away so could not pop in and get them like some of the girls I trained with. Overall Carla is a good teacher and what she did deliver she delivered well, but I definitely felt like they oversold and undelivered and I did not get what I paid for. The course is priced really well but for a reason. On reflection you do not get everything that is advertised which is a disappointment. I did leave feeling confident with what I did learn but I’m aware that others on my course didn’t feel the same. I suggest that Jessica Megan think about steam-lining this course making it realistic or give more time to meet expectations of what’s advertised.

It has been a great experience and i feel confident to move on to the next stage in my life and this is all down to Lisa for being a brilliant trainer. I have just done the career course at Jessica Megan, with Lisa, the course itself is very intense but SO worth it. Lisa is the most incredible teacher who literally went above and beyond all week, she made myself and the rest of the group feel so comfortable, I felt I was able to ask any questions and she gave me the confidence to get straight in there with the practical. Lisa is one of the nicest people I have met and I couldn’t have got through an intense course without such an amazing person guiding us through every step. I have recently trained at the Jessica Megan Studios in advanced aesthetics and I am so glad I chose the right place!! Ok the clinic looks beautiful but the staff themselves are so kind and extremely supportive I cannot fault them at all. The course itself is six days so there is plenty of time to absorb the information and practice skills with the models they provide - which helps put the theory with the practical. My cohort consisted of six students which meant at times we all received one-to-one support which was helpful. The CEO Jessica even came in to meet us all and helped me take photos for content which was lovely. Carla was our tutor, she was amazing and she made each and every student feel supported and listened to. Carla definitely made the experience great. If you are new to the aesthetics world like I was I would highly recommend joining the Jessica Megan Studios ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After having had a bad experience with a different training academy based in Manchester, I decided to give aesthetics another go when I found Jessica Megan on instagram. I signed up for the 6 day career bundle course which was huge value for money in comparison to all other courses out there. The pre-course material was extensive and very informative. 1st day I arrived I could already tell it was going to be amazing as they provided us with booklets with lots of information in them. Our 6 day journey was a mix of theory (class room based) and practical (on live models). Carla was our trainer and she was phenomenal, very knowledgable and also gave us some helpful business advice. The place is beautifully decorated (a lot of effort has gone into it). Thank you for my amazing training course (career bundle). Thoroughly enjoyed my week training at your academy. Carla was incredible and explained everything thoroughly. Jessica & Lisa were also really lovely. Thank you all, fantastic place to train! Highly recommend, don’t go anywhere else.

Avoid!!! I had a really bad experience with them. I had booked for the course and paid £1500 deposit, I was only told 2 days after paying that the deposit was non refundable. I have contacted them several times on fb and via email and all they seem to do is ignore me. I have even said I’m happy to provide evidence of why I cannot continue with the training but they have been ignoring me. You can’t just take someone’s money and ignore them hoping they’ll not say anything!!!! Terrible place, I hope this get’s investigated soon.

She's a great trainer, Lisa explains everything so well! and offers great support after the course. I would definitely recommend it. Honestly the nicest, most knowledgeable and amazing group of trainers. Carla was my tutor for my course and she is full of life, helpful, full of knowledge, professional and just a lovely person who makes you feel at ease as soon as you walk into the studio and just can’t do enough for you. This girl seriously loves her job and I love her!! Olivia is also very kindhearted, funny and does her upmost to get as many clients as possible in for you, we wouldn’t have got so much needle experience if it wasn’t for her! Jessica is very friendly, helpful and amazing at her job although we only see her briefly she couldn’t have been more accommodating. Although we didn’t spend much time with Darcy and Lisa they were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable when we did have contact with them. I am so glad that I chose Jessica Megan Studios as my training academy after months of research. I 1000% made the right decision and I have had nothing but ongoing support since my training finished. I actually miss these guys so much after spending a week with them. I’ll be back soon ladies ?

Had the absolute worst experience doing my training here, Training is extremely rushed, unorganised, and honestly I left so confused. There was barely any complications training, and there’s no after support, Once you have paid the money and had the training, you will not hear from them again and you will get ignored. I wasn’t given models for all areas, and barely did enough models to practice. Please avoid, I had to pay for further training with a better academy because of how untaught and confused I was.

LACK OF COMMUNICATION, BLOCKED ME WHILST HAVING PANIC ATTACK AND TOOK MY MONEY NO RESPONSE LOSELY ACCUSED OF FRAUD (THEN DELETED MESSAGES ) I am a women that loves to support and uplift other women so to be a writing this review is gutting for me as I would never want to put down another women but I have recently done training at Jessica Megan studios, all staff were lovely especially Carla who is an amazing educator and the rest of the staff make you feel extremely welcome unfortunately on the second day of the course I fell Ill and was taken into hospital on the day carla was amazing offered support and told me to put my health first & that I’d be able to come the following week after this all correspondence with Jessica Megan studios was non existent … no one would answer phone calls , texts or any messages which was the same before I paid for the course until the course is paid for they are not interested… Jessica herself was lovely at start until she accused me of posting a negative review , she threatened me with her legal team and she accused me of fraud Iam a teenage girl I suffer with extreme anxiety , depression and ptsd after a miscarriage which I opened up to Jessica about which she did not show one ounce of empathy she continued to bombard me with threats about her solicitor whilst I sent her voice notes whilst crying due to a panic attack begging her to stop to which she didn’t care or apologise she just blocked me and took thousands of pounds of my money and just asked me to email her legal team which NO ONE has answered I am training in psychology and support many local charities that support women through pregnancy loss, domestic abuse and infertility, due to Jessica now blocking me I will no longer be able to do my charity event which I made clear to her , I feel so disappointed that this has happened us women in the industry are meant to work together and support one another so for this I will not going back

I have paid for 1:2:1 training. 1ST POINT: The administration needs to be improved! I have done a beginners course.. They were answering all of my questions straight away until I book. •They did not tell me that I cannot cancel before booking.. After I booked and paid half of the course price as deposit they send me an email saying I cannoy cancel because of handbooks. •They called me after a week saying they accidentally booked me in for the dates I wanted and if they can change the dates(they wont let me cancel) I already booked the hotel and holiday from work etc. Than on my email it says my tuttor is the CEO Jessica with her number on and when they called to change my accidentally booked dates they told me that Jessica isn't teaching anymore and all I can see is her face all over instagram and the email said jessica... anyway that was already disappointing.. Than when they call me back and said if I paid and extra £1000 I can get trained by jessica which obviously I refused.. Than they got me another tutor with dates I wanted and it was sorted but gave me lots of stress.. 2ND POINT: •When they send me files for treatments they send me random ones that I didn't even wanted.. •The files that was relavent to my courses weren't good enough.. they don't have enough information that I will need.. THIS IS SOMETHING DEFINITELY NEEDS IMPROVEMENT! 3RD POINT •When I turned up for my course I find out that they removed led light therapy from the course I PAID FOR! DID NOT OFFER ME ANYTHING TO COVER THAT.. THIS WAS ANOTHER BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I had Carla as my tutor and I was happy to have her. She was lovely person who answered every single question I had. But there was so much other points that put me down and made me regret. CARLA IS AN AMAZING TUTOR.. Improvements need to happen as I do not think this course was worth £2000.. with all these disappointments.. If it was this disappointing for me as a 1:2:1 I don't even want to think those people in groups.. SO DON'T GO THERE HAVING TOO MUCH HOPES!

Where do I begin! I did the start from scratch training with JMS. My trainer was Carla. Carla is a FANTASTIC teacher! She guides you through every step of the course thoroughly and perfectly, allowing you to feel confident in what you are doing and are going to move on to do. When I booked the course I honestly didn’t have the highest of expectations; because the course covers A LOT, and the course fee is extremely friendly! However I have left my training feeling very confident and excited to start my new career. I will most certainly be returning to this academy for further training, Carla is SO talented and I am very excited to learn more from her. I have noticed there are some not so positive reviews on here. From the group training I can see that some people may not be fast learners or maybe don’t absorb information so well, and so I would say it is vital you record/note down any and all information you get whilst on the course as this will benefit you when you leave. Carla is an absolute asset to this academy! Thank you Carla and I’ll see you again soon!! Xx

I have wanted to do aesthetics for a long time now and after doing some research into studios/academies I decided to go with jessica Megan studios and completed the start from scratch course. I can honestly say it was a fabulous experience and my tutor Carla was amazing and very informative, if I didn’t understand something (I have dyslexia and dyspraxia) it was broken down and made so I did understand. I keep in contact regular with Carla and the studio who are all VERY helpful! For anyone wanting to go into this field of work I would defo recommend Jessica Megan studios and also the studio is beautiful!! ?

Where do I start… I’ve just returned from the most amazing 3 days with Jessica and the girls. I travelled six hour round trip to train at Jessica Megan Studios. After following their page on social media for ages and speaking to Jessica for several months I knew this was the place I wanted to train in my advanced aesthetics. I’ve learned so much from Jessica. Her trying is so in depth and she is so knowledgeable and patient. I felt comfortable to ask questions and the practical training was insane. I’ve lost count on how many models I have done over the three days. It’s honestly been more than I could ever of hoped for and I have left feeling so confident and ready to take my business to the next level. I can’t wait to come back next month and train in more courses. I just want to say a huge thank you to Jess and Carla for all the training and I’m so happy with all my treatments I had done. I have been contemplating starting a career in aesthetics for almost a year after qualifying in microblading last year. I did my research into training academies and kept coming back to Jessicamegan studios. I am literally so glad I did! I have left today after 3 days 1-1 training with Carly and feel so confident and capable I am literally amazed at how professional but relaxed and friendly the atmosphere is. Carly made me feel soooo comfortable, I was nervous but completely at ease with her as a trainer! She absolutely knows her stuff, I feel like I’ve had 2 weeks training in 3 days! Other girls were there for advanced classes and hadn’t been taught a lot of the things in their foundation basics that I have been here. Jessica is adorable so easy to talk too and brilliant at what she does saw some amazing Russians done in the masterclass. The whole crew there were great so friendly Olivia is such a love I honestly didn’t want to leave and go home to Kent!! I will definitely come back for any further training I need it’s worth the 6 hour trip, a totally honest review, the care,considerations, accents on safety as a high priority, warm welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable team is second to none. Ive been looking to start my new career as a aesthetic practitioner for years so after researching for months which academy to go with I decided to book my training with Jessica Megan studies after all the fantastic reviews I have read online, ( I drove from london) great course with very knowledgeable trainers I am blown away by how meticulous the trainers are, I trained with Elle who was astounding and a great trainer she put me at ease, she help me learn the way I would understand she went through all information thoroughly, In-depth and explained clearly. Elle is highly skilled, knowledgeable and approachable. I completed the start from scratch course in aesthetics. Absolutely loved the week considering I was nervous about working with needles- not anymore!? Carla was our course tutor she was very professional, informative, reassuring and inspiring. As the days went on my confidence increased massively and it's all thanks to Carla and the team. They always ensure you have lots of clients to practice on until your fully confident, if you need extra help they will make sure you have it and will stay longer hours just to ensure you complete enough clients to pass. The whole team are so welcoming and down to earth. I will be back for further courses thank you sooo much!!? Xxxx

I went to Jessica Megan for a course which covered lots of topics including dermal fillers, anti wrinkle injections, advanced fillers etc. The tutor, Carla was really lovely and really friendly. She taught what she was told to taught so can’t really be blamed for the rushed courses, apart from the fact it was cut a day early as she didn’t think the class needed it. The course was supposed to last for 4 days however it was cut down to 3. I walked away with 17 certificates and some of it I didn’t even do? so of course I will not be offering those things to any clients. Secondly, here’s where I’m about to go completely Karen on Jessica! She is the rudest, most obnoxious person I’ve ever spoken to in my life! I don’t know who she thinks she is to talk to people how she does? who even is she? I’ve never heard of her before I googled courses. The academy directed us to a company to buy our filler from. It’s a guy in Manchester which we as naive students was led to believe sold legitimate fillers (obviously if the academy youre training at tells you to go somewhere for your products then we will, we know no better!) when the products arrived they said “not for use in the EU” as they’re not CE registered. It was shipped filler from other countries that insurance didn’t cover. My friend noticed this and told me to ask her. I contacted Jessica Megan via Facebook and her response was “it’s common sense babe??” “we don’t use that filler we use juvaderm” She does use that filler in the academy because we took photos of it. They inject none CE approved filler and her answer is “everyone does it” then said “we’re not in the EU anymore babe” Thank god I have an aesthetics nurse as a close friend who directed me to a pharmacist to buy my products from so I resolved the problem before it became an issue. Jessica Megan wasnt helpful, very rude and very patronising… also, the guy who sells this stuff knows it’s wrong as well as he said to me on the phone after I questioned it “buy one from the pharmacist and keep the box and if anyone questions you just show them that one box and say you use that” what the hell?? The “advanced filler” certificate I got was watching a cheek being injected and doing one quick injection in the cheek then bam I was qualified. The lips and anti wrinkle and vitamin injections I am confident in but I won’t be offering anything else a certificate was for. Don’t give your money to this shambles of an academy. Jessica is very rude, very unprofessional and doesn’t seem like a nice person at all. She shown no remorse, didn’t apologise and told me it was my fault for not checking what I was buying when her academy directed me to this man and I was non the wiser!!

Absolute joke of a company!! Who are happily taking peoples money yet not delivering the full service like they are supposed to do and just sending people out there once qualified to do treatments on clients and they aren't even confident enough because they have not had more in depth teaching which in the long run could cause fatalities if not administered correctly. Clearly by all other reviews all over the internet, i am sadly not the only one who has been robbed of their money and not been trained properly. I paid thousands for a private 1-1 course, which we crammed a weeks worth of work in just 10 hours. The whole thing felt rushed and i came away from there not feeling confident in all i had learned and forgot some of it due to my brain being fried trying to take everything in in one day. I've barely had any aftercare since completing the course, most of my messages have been ignored or every time i needed help and i called the studio i was always told i would get calls back but never got any at all. All other students receive there certificates upon completion, where as because of the unprofessional and extremely rude Manager/PA Rebecca i had to deal with at the studio, i didn't receive my certificates for 3 weeks! In that time i lost clients because i had to keep putting them off which lost me a lot of money, because i couldn't get insured as they were refusing me insurance even though JMS state they help you get insurance, it took a while and a big headache later for it to finally be done which again was weeks after i completed the course. Now i have to pay even more money with a more professional company to re do the course i have completed with JMS as i have had no help, i was promised another course to go over things, then also promised phone calls to re arrange then i'm getting rude messages when i'm asking when i'm supposed to be getting the call as well as the date to re do it. I never do bad reviews about anything but this is discusting taking peoples hard earned cash and then practically doing half a job then throwing them to the wolves to fend for themselves. So i have now contacted citizens advice, trading standards and my family member who is also a solicitor so i am getting the advice and help i need. As this should not be allowed, i have spoken with several people who have completed courses with JMS and they have all had to re train elsewhere which is wrong on so many levels that enough is enough. I have informed the owner Jessica that i will be pursuing this. And the only childish message i received was 'see you in court' then i was blocked? what an embarrassment of a company. UPDATE : Just had a phone call off The PA Rebecca who called my personal phone and asked me to remove her name from my review and even admitted it is the owner Jessica who was impersonating her on instagram and being unprofessional and rude as well as how the standards of after care at the studio etc are not good. And she could easily get her done for defamation of character as she has lots of proof also. I have had plenty of proof of everything from day one. I don't agree with people treating people like this and getting away with it. Not this time. The whole thing is a joke. I now have a solicitor ready to go to the small claims court if i do not receive my refund within 2 weeks of receiving my official letter and email that i was advised to write. She may be able to rob everyone else blind but certainly not me.

I recently had training with Jessica Megan I accomplished my dream as she is the place to go for aesthetic training. Best at her job to give you best training possible. No need to be worried as they will help you get through with live models and make sure your confident at the end. ?

Awful. Training is abysmal Jessica needs to be shut down, she is taking people’s money and offering the worst training. Refuses to let you return to train on things you are unsure of. Large groups packed into tiny training room with no models provided. Gives out certificates for things you haven’t even practiced in, late for her own training sessions, let’s you inject half of a models top lip and then gives you a certificate to say you’re fully qualified. Rude and obnoxious. Not there for you after training either to help you with anything you aren’t sure of. Spends the time she should be training you on the phone texting her boyfriend. Please stay away and train at a decent place who will provide with proper training where you leave feeling confident.
