Why
Kids Eat Free is a campaign organised by the businesses of Leigh to help families over school holidays. As the cost-of-living crisis continues, cafes, pubs and restaurants in Leigh are providing free kids meals.
The offer will run over the Christmas school holidays, from 21st July 2023 until 3rd September 2023 and includes local businesses such as Lilac Lounge, Cafe Station and Bradshawgate Cafe as well as national chains.
The idea was pitched by Leigh Means Business at a "Dragon's Den" event hosted by the Rotary Club of Leigh who funded the project. Other local businesses have pitched in their own time and money, but the real stars are the eateries who are offing the free meals.
