I paid £2.68 today for raspberries & blue berries have just opened them what actually I got was 2 boxes full of ants I find it the most disgusting shop I know will never ever go to this shop again.

Been shopping here since it opened. Staff always seem friendly and helpful ( some more than others). Good selection of fruit and vegetables. Watch for offers that appear on Thursdays and Sundays some are very good.

Went in Aldi tonight not happy about tills being closed and made to use the self checkout, as I started shopping at Aldi to get away from other supermarkets that implement this !!! The staff moral did not seem good and Lucy (blonde hair ) is normally so Jolly and smiling seemed frustrated with this , if this is the new way forward i will be looking to shop somewhere else

We have shopped at this store and received good friendly service for the past 5 years. However yesterday 8th Feb '24 I experienced the most appalling treatment at the checkout. The goods were pushed through at a rate too fast to keep up, some landing on the floor. I asked the lady to slow down. She responded "Its how I have been trained to do it" I repeated, please slow down. She suggested next time "go to a different checkout" I had a word with the manager, sadly his response supported the checkout assistant. So it's not just going to be a different checkout. Its going to be a different supermarket. Bye Aldi (Leigh).

Still our weekly shop for groceries, but I have noticed prices creeping up, some even doubling, but this is probably more to do with the country’s economy. Quality of the food is getting worse.

Very reasonable prices and good quality fruit and vegetables but not every range of goods sold so you do need to top up at other stores. Would definitely go again.

TOTALLY UNSATISFACTORY with very poor standards and very Poor produce it’s an unclean store with a large plump female member of staff with a big mouth and attitude to match helps keep the store at its present all time low I have purchased meat fish poultry and vegetables along with fruit all unsatisfactory poor quality produce not lasting 2 days prior to sell by date. Management are aware as I have written direct to store and complained regularly only to be scoffed at by plump lady with attitude. No doubt we will see some form of legal action against this store.

We're very lucky to have two Aldis in Leigh, and this one is my favourite. Life can be mundane, and this place will make you feel alive. There's just a little bit of jeopardy, which I love.

Updating my review of Aldi... and it's even better than before... For the duration of the COVID19 pandemic I started getting my shopping delivered by the likes of Tesco and Iceland, and it's been an eye-opener. I found that the quality, in terms of flavour and/or composition of items I bought via Tesco varied a lot. For example, to find a brand of soup that wasn't watery or otherwise uneventful I'd have to try every brand they sell out that particular type of soup. This was especially so with the chicken soups as an example. Although Aldi doesn't have the same variety as Tesco, with Aldi, when you buy a tin of chicken soup, it's a tin of chicken soup, and this goes for all the products I like to purchase from Aldi. So, Aldi may not deliver to my door, but they deliver on their products and prices.

Been this morning and wasn't busy. Shelves full with loads of fresh stuff and lots of bargains. Always find myself going the special buys and coming out with stuff I didn't know I needed. All good though.

Due to aldi's policy on selling fireworks again this year I will never shop at aldi again. My dogs welfare is more important than lining the pockets of this money making machine. Its a shame they don't care about there customers concern at this time of year.

Walk in to buy some flowers, walk out with a new drill and a couple of Jerry cans. We all know aldi by now. Special buys aside they do some quality food products and the meat is always on point. Cant get enough if the lime and chilli chicken thou.

Nice little Aldi. They nearly all the time have everything on the shelves. Always friendly staff. They also installed new Covid 19 measures (green/red light over entrance) to make sure there are not too many customers are in the shop. I nearly always can find lactose free milk here, when in other shop they run out.
