Bought multiple ice creams that seemed to had been defrosted then refrozen. Imagine my heartbreak when I open my little moons and they are somehow soggy mushy and rock solid all at once. This is a disgrace!!!

1 month agoNice, clean store. Never too busy each time I’ve been in. Usually have decent food reduced to cheap prices if you go in at the right times, as well. Plenty of car parking spaces, disabled friendly and lots of parent & toddler spaces available, too.

2 months agoServed by a lovely more mature member of staff think his name is Don been served by him in the past very good customer service from him we travel from wigan to shop here love kids clothes we always pick something up for our grandson just like the store

2 months agoIt's ok, clean, friendly staff, good bakery. Car park seems to be regularly blocked by travellers or fans going for Rugby or Football.

2 months agoThere is a larger enough variety of products and brands here to suit most people. I used to shop at Morrisons often, but now not so much. The men’s toilet here could do with cleaning, covering or removing the radiator below the hand dryers, I’ve not included the picture as it was in quite a bad state, being under the hand dryers after all, the clip strips didn’t have prices on most of them so no chance I’d buy anything on those. The self checkout has a nice message, there are some good deals around the shop and there were plenty of parking spaces available.

3 months agoMostly good. One check out operator is very unfriendly. Doesn’t speak to you at all ! The others are fine. I’ve been waiting for a more card for weeks now. Keep being told all sorts of silly reasons why I haven’t got it yet. Customer services not great. Store is always clean and fairly well stocked.

5 months agoRecently rediscovered Morrisons after years of shopping elsewhere due to convenience. However I was really impressed with this store, so much so I will likely be using this much more frequently now. The store was clean and well stocked. I really like that Morrisons still has the salad, pizza, fish and cheese counters (which other shops have done away with). I really liked the separate outdoor mini garden centre in the car park as it means I can pick up heavier garden items (such as compost and planters) and put them straight in the car. Well done Morrisons! ?

5 months agoLoads of parking. Easy access. Internal store layout is a little confusing. Signage in store is a bit vague and points to items that are wrong. For example female deodorant labeled as male toiletries. This is only minor though. Does the job of making you go down every isle. Unfortunately, as per norm, the salad bar is a bit sparse. Only half the items available on the counter (this was at 11.30am) and they had never put the trays out. Never mind...

5 months agoAbsolutely shocking that I’ve been stuck on the car park for almost 2 hours because a football game ended. This is an absolute disgrace.

9 months agoThey sell fruit sourced from Israel. If this company is selling fruit from an apartheid state (as confirmed by Human Rights Watch & Amnesty International) its fair to say the ethical policy ‘We strongly believe that when human rights are respected and ethical standards are consistently delivered’ is just hollow rhetoric without substance. I won’t be shopping here again until it publicly states it confirms it won’t sell produce from this apartheid state.

10 months agoFor the past 6 weeks now everyday the fuel has been the same price at £1.547 shouldnt it faucet with the price they buy it at and price if crude oil / $. Seen 3 fuel tankers there so they have had to buy more. Before this it was always in the £1.35ish

11 months agoVisiting area so popped in for lunch. Mistake for us. No staff when we arrived. Hardly any food options. Half hour/45 mins wait for hot food. No cups at first for our hot drinks. 1 staff member eventually appeared with a non bothered attitude. Most tables not cleared and food on the floor where we sat. Would not go back again I'm afraid
Helen Burrows
1 year agoI love the variety and prices in Morrisons. Plus they farm their own fresh produce, all their veg, fruit and meat is cared for and grown by them. It's good to know where the food I buy comes from.
Rachel Conway
1 year ago4 stars for the cafe but 5 stars for the staff in the name of Caroline . Helped me numerous times as I’ve never been in a Morrisons to eat before and she was cheery about it as well . Thank you Caroline . In fact all the staff I encountered were polite and helpful .

1 year agoIf I could give zero I would sat for 35 mins waiting for two breakfast sandwiches people coming in after served. No apology from staff oh we will make now. Shocking service

1 year agoDon't go to Morrisons very often as it isn't local to where I live. But, if I can coincide it with another necessary journey, it always a pleasure to shop there. They have a really good range of products, it's nicely set out and roomy down each Isle and best of all, their products are reasonably priced.
Jo Cavanagh
1 year agoThe cafe is awful. Waiting for an hour , foe fried egg on toast. When it came if looked like it had been cooked for 3 hours.Truly dreadful, come on Morrisons you can do better than this.

1 year agoCalled into the petrol station for some Heets (cigarette substitute) the woman behind the counter said "I've never heard of them" I said you sell them, they're just behind you and she simply said again "I've never heard of them" she never looked or had intention of looking and she was rude about it. I pass twice daily on my commute and won't be going again. Wouldn't of minded if there wasn't any had she looked and been polite about it, can't act like that with customers

1 year agoWe visited Morrisons today to pick up a couple of items. On the bread isle, the shelf ticket for Soya & Linseed Loaf was showing a price of £1.19. However, when we scanned it, at the check-out, it came up as £1.45. We brought this to the attention of the store self-service person, who then overrode the price as shown on the receipt. As we only had only three items, the error was easy to spot. Might have been a different story if we had done a big shop.
Terry Hooper
1 year agoAll I can say is cakes cakes, cakes they have them all at the bakery at the back not to mention so many kinds of loaves, they've an exercise salad bar where you make your own salad up, and the breakfast in there cafe is well worth a chomp on.

1 year agoNice selection even at first thing on a bank holiday. Good prices, and some nice items that other mainline supermarkets don't have. Well worth a look.

1 year agoAlways told that they don't have any gluten free pizza bases in stock. Go find a manager he comes out with a shed load of em. Staff too lazy to look in the back. Happens every single week.

1 year agoMale Toilets are appalling !!! Inspections carried out and signed off to say they are Hygienic! One toilet does not have a door! The other toilet has a door and NO Toilet seat! If this is Morrisons standard of Hygiene, well I would certainly avoid shopping there!
Christopher Lazoryk
1 year agoI usually shop online with Morrisons but occasionally go into this branch. What is going on with the trolley situation? They are left out when the store is closed and next to non in the store. The amount of people who go in the store then walk out to look for a trolley. It's either laziness or incompetence by the management.UPDATE I went in this morning and took the shopping to the self service till. The machine was very slow, not registering the items and had to get a staff member. She said some are like that. Then no receipt was printed. The supervisor came over and said had any money been put in it by me. So instead of doing her job in the first place and fixing machines she accused me of not putting any money in it. When she pulled the receipt out of the faulty machine no apology at all about her insinuation. How people like this keep there job i don't know.

1 year agoNot much to say about this place really has all Morrisons are the same aren’t they ?. I do like a Morrisons salad come to think of it they are just amazing from here, I do like the cooked chickens as well but the only thing is you go in for a sandwich and come out with a basket full of stuff you don’t need and that £3 sandwich has just cost you £40 plus you forgot to buy the bloody sandwich you went in for ???.

1 year agoWent in for an early dinner 12ish in the cafe, had a small fish and chips and peas and a slice of bread and butter and a cup of tea cost about £7.10p they do have a menu with other items on it, fairly bizzy,

1 year agoNot impressed with the Dpd drop off point. Staff not well trained, stuff not collected. I have parcels dropped later been delivered whilst earlier ones are hanging around. Apparently it’s not ‘ their’ responsibility. Well whose is it when we drop off our valuable stuff ?… not impressed.
Nigel Jackson
1 year agoGood cheap gas but watch out if you don't put the nozzle back on the pump correctly or the little fellow will tell you off in quite a condescending way. I also had to go to Sainsbury's to buy vodka. Come on Morrison's, sell some decent vodka please!
podwin
1 year agoPicked up some dinner from the chicken counter, the chicken isn't 100% that has the breadcrumbs on and the taste is different, I won’t be returning for the chicken but the salad bar is good so I will be getting that next time.

1 year agoOrdered food for our wedding anniversary party tomorrow. The lady on the counter was absolutely brilliant. She was let down by the fact that items I had ordered were no longer available and the cake looked like a baggage handler from Manchester Airport had packed it!! However she and the girl who came to cover on the cigarette counter were lovely and so helpful

1 year agoHorrendous visit ti Morrison Leigh today. They had a wine offer buy 4 or more and get 25% off Got 4 bottles and asked on of store walkers if they all qualified for the offer. He did not know Went to self service till and scanned all shopping and Wine 25 % not deducted. Till assistant couldn't explain or understand why. I told her I didn't want the wine and said I'd pay for non wine items. But I wanted to speak to a Manager to understand why the offer was not being applied Eventually manager came and she didn't know why the offer wasn't actioned either Over half an hour getting nowhere Eventually they agreed it should have been applied and fixed a retilling to make it apply by scanning one bottle Very unsatisfactory experience of Morrisons in Leigh Buyer beware. It could happen to you!

1 year agoMore expensive than Asda, Tesco or Sainsbury's. Full of the older generation that seem to think it's perfectly fine to move you out the way with their trolly. Not the greatest range of products either, I only use Morrisons this time because it's next to my kids swimming lessons and convenient
mike gore
2 years agoMorrison’s needs a full time trolley attendant, all the trolleys are sticking out in to the car park which restricts access to cars and people trying to pass. I also saw one person having to move more than 10 trolleys just so they could reverse out of a space and not hit the trolleys. Definitely one for head office Management to sort out
King Kris
2 years agoGood supermarket, not too big either. Most items in stock and staff provide a friendly service.

2 years agoCafeteria a mess, tables full of plates teapots etc, nobody clearing the tables, people bringing in full shopping trolleys, needs proper management. I have reported this problem more than once, i asked a staff member if she could clear the mess on the floor round our table, not my job she said, disgraceful,I have rang head office and they said they will get in touch,no change. Morrisons Leigh next to leigh rugby club.

2 years agoIf only I lived closer, when I'm in this area I just have to go to this store, it's big and airy, loads of great fresh produce, always find a super bargain.
Fiona Sims
2 years agoMorrisons did not help me with several complaints about staff attitude and numerous errors in pricing. Out of pocket numerous times with incorrect pricing. No trollies in store customers having to go outside to the bays in pouring rain to get their own. On numerous other visits the trolley situation has got no better, seems the management can't remedy the problem.

2 years agoI do like Morrisons prices are pretty good some very good offers. It's the only store that does bertoli with butter all other stores have stopped doing it. But I have to travel to get to it it's not local but I like the lay out

2 years agoStaff friendly. Miss having the loyalty card, the more one is pretty pointless, not worth having I feel. Meal deals are the best and cakes are excellent. Lots of good thing's but seems like the more expensive supermarket now.
Debbie Lloyd
2 years agoVery helpful pleasant and friendly staff.it was so easy to stroll round and shop.it was busy but not uncomfortable.and they do amazing vegetarian and plant based products.they stock our fave low sugar and salt bread, which is amazing.the prices have increased a bit,but so has everywhere.would like a better stocked nail varnish/make up section.

2 years agoWhat's good: Fruit and vegetables , usually fresh and good quality, Meat and fish, Car parking. What's bad : Customer services till. I bought an item that had a different price than the sticker on the shelve. Brought it to the CS who made me feel like I was stupid even though it wasn't clearly marked and was there fault. How much do you think this lamb leg was per kilo?
Tom
2 years agoThere was a 40 minute wait for all hot food. So purchased sandwiches instead, 2 ham and 1 egg. All 3 sandwiches had dry ends on bread and the crisps were soft. Nor good at all.
Pauline Roby
2 years agoA clean bright and well kept supermarket. Always well stocked and the meat from the in store butcher is the best supermarket meat in the area. Not the cheapest, but mostly good quality.

2 years agoDisabled toilets being used by 2 girls trying clothes on! Not good as mam had stroke and walking with a 4 wheel zimmer couldn't get into the other toilets! Eventually went into baby toilet but very low down so she struggled to get up! This shouldn't be allowed we have the disabled key we go everywhere with it! Because it's left open people will use it that are not disabled mam v upset by this

2 years agoBeen sat here waiting 45 minutes for breakfast. Cafes not that busy ,we’ll it wouldn’t be if they served the food in a timely manner. Just been told 3 more in front of us. Looks like ultimate breakfast for supper

2 years agoBest supermarket in the area. Everything looks fresh. There's not much they don't have in stock. Staff are friendly etc. My new go to supermarket for food
Lee Robinson
2 years agoThe restaurant is consistently awful in service, cleanliness, friendliness and in common sense. The last few times I’ve been there there has been some issue with the service leading to it taking hours to get food, despite the restaurant being quiet. Today was no exception. I’ve had to drop an email to ceo office as it was so bad today.

2 years agoLoads of car parking space, very well laid out inside with good quality products at fair pricing. The lady on the first till we went to was extremely helpful and showed us where the Christmas cards were that we couldn't find. Even got petrol on the way out, as low a price as I've seen locally. Well worth a visit.

2 years agoGreat store, plenty of choice. The store is always clean, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is a cafe in here, also public toilets. This store is easily accessible by wheelchair users and disabled people.

2 years agoA 50 minute wait for two full breakfasts largely spoiled the experience. An undercooked fried egg was the icing on the cake. The rest of the food and latte were nice but wouldn't return based on the above.

3 years agoThis is a review for the cafe. Nice food, bit of a wait though even though it was empty inside and black pudding was missing from the all day breakfast, husband didn't notice until half way through his meal so didn't bother asking for it, It was very nice though though would go again, soft drinks are a little expensive. Friendly staff and nice and clean.

3 years agoExcellent store with a great range of groceries and other items too.Good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of free parking and great access for the disabled. Easy to get around when you are on a Walking frame like me.Only downside is that the Cafe now has a very limited menu due to Covid restrictions but the toast and teacakes are delicious!! Recommended! Thankyou.

3 years agoThis is a large modern store with a large car park. It was not busy inside (Weds 3.00pm). It was my first visit. There did not seem to be many staff around to ask where things were. I like the fact that they are aware of the Sunflower Lanyard Disability Scheme. The petrol station sells LPG which is a bonus for us.

3 years agoWent shopping on Friday afyernoon 14/05/21 for the time here in over a year. A really excellent good size supermarket with a large range of food & non-goods. It has its own bakery, fresh meat counters, & was very clean and tidy, with plenty of friendly and helpful staff. It also includes a large car park, a section of which doubles as a mini- garden centre. A really pleasant shopping experience, with some good quality own brand products.on sale that saved me a few quid.

3 years agoI haven't been to this store for a couple of years but visited it today and I was very impressed and will be making regular visits for any big shops I need to do. The store was well laid out and well stocked and had a large choice of goods. A good choice of fresh fish and different cuts of meat. Prices were very competitive. Plenty free parking on site. Friendly staff. It's a good store.
