Really disappointed with the service provided by them. Went to change some holiday money as the exchange rate was good, was then told they will contact me when the money arrives. Long story short, phoned them after 10 days as I had not heard anything, only to be told, I don't understand why they didn't contact you. Was then offered to place the order agian at a much worse exchange rate that I had originally placed an order to.
Ended up leaving it as would have left me out of pocket..... Will never use them again as feel like I was ripped off for a mistake that they made.....

I always book my holidays with Nikki she is absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. She has a wealth of knowledge of the holiday industry and explores all options to get you the holiday you want.

Popped in on Sunday to enquire about an holiday we had seen. Lindsay was great chatting to the kids asking about where we had been before telling us about places she had been. Half hour later holiday booked for next year. Will be booking again through Lindsay next time we look to go away.

Same as every other travel agent. I thought I'd be cheeky and outsmart the times but seems as though even the agency's or agent's aren't bothered about making a dime. To be brutally honest, travel agents are only used by old folk or generally people that are not computer savy. Want the cheapest, do it yourself.

Booked a flight to Thailand, only to receive the incorrect E Ticket and be unable to travel. There was no apology from the travel agent until I raised that point. Flight was refunded and offered an insulting £100 in compensation despite losing £80 in taxis.
Several errors leading up to the holiday which I won’t waste my time going into. Although I think it’s important to raise the point that I found it rather unusual for travel agents to be turning up at your house with ‘bits’… very strange but hey ho…. Shambles of a company. Unprofessional staff, unprofessional network but most of all… generally stupid

I recently booked a cruise to the Carney Islands with Barrhead Travel and it was an amazing experience. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and they managed to get me a great deal. Not only was the cruise itself a perfect holiday, but the staff at Barrhead Travel were so helpful that I have already booked two more cruises with them for 2023. I can't recommend Barrhead Travel enough, they made booking a cruise so easy and stress-free. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer service is second to none. Thanks Barrhead Travel!
