You stand on the queue to be served and there’s a staff member to the side of the queue encouraging you to use the machine .
It does not matter how long that queue gets the person still stands there encouraging you to use a till instead of getting staff out to sort.
Never the less the staff are great when you do get served

On a whole excellent bank but internal machines need looking at .
Keep rejecting cash to be paid in.
These are supposed to cut waiting times and make things easier.
Just isn't working.

Visited Today....Customer having a Conversation with staff member behind the counter...whilst my husband and I left waiting along with other customers...Then had the cheek to say Thankyou for waiting on her way out!...My reply was....We ALL didn't have much choice did we?.....Staff also need to be aware.....Its a bank.......We don't all have time to stand around while you chat for 10minutes

Always been a good branch. I transferred my account here in 1986. I do feel the staff are being hamstrung by corporate decisions. Service is very slow, there are only two counters available, but three or four machines. The machines can only give a very limited service, nothing like a person at a counter, so the is a huge queue waiting for the two counters. Not ideal to say the least.

Staff are nice and helpful etc, but my word if you need the counter and can’t use one of the paying in machines, be prepared to wait…and wait. Lots of people don’t trust the machines so prefer to use the counter. Typing this as I queue

Absolutely amazing Team at the Leigh branch. Michelle and Josh specifically have been so helpful! I was recently unwell and missed an appointment and they sent me a beautiful bunch of flowers.. they say your local bank manager has disappeared well not at Leigh Natwest! 4 times we have been to the bank, the que is down the street,who says we don't need high street banks, closing at 1 oclock? some of us are still working, at this sad time, dont mention online banking,

Bank staff seem friendly enough and helpful, tills inside with facilities to pay cash into account via if there’s a queue.
When you do actually deal with staff there not behind a screen so more face to face to deal
With rather than through a window where can’t discuss as clear and issues.
Bank is also open Saturday which is useful and they also are pet friendly i regularly visit with my German shepherd, also a water bowl is usually there near the entrance.
