Used this facility whilst I was moving house from London. The guys at the front desk were very helpful and provided a very good service. There is loads of parking and trolleys available, storage units are clean and there is a large variety of sizes.

As a removal company operating for nearly ten years, we've visited a lot of different storage units. Big Yellow is by far the cleanest, most secure and modern amongst them all. The many trollies provided are the most practical that we've used, and their huge loading bay is indoors! The fork lift driver is always readily available, and the lifts are capacious. I always recommend Big Yellow Manchester to our customers seeking storage because working there is quick, easy and dare I say - pleasurable :).

Amazing customer service, the initial phone call with Callum was very helpful. Room sizes were explained and at no point did they push me for a more expensive option, they actually told me I'd asked for too big a space. Check in process was very informative, they couldn't have done much more. I used the extended access hours as well and this was well explained and easy to use. Whenever I called I got straight through to an actual person on reception as well. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, it is a company where you can talk to people very quickly, no hash tags and numbers with robotic telecommunications you get real people! Danny and Stefan on reception are extremely professional, incredibly helpful and clear on all points. They take care of you and offer support and advice on the logistics of removals. I would definitely recommend them when moving home, business and for selling on line as it's a bright happy place. Thank you Sally

Had such a lovely experience from Big Yellow Self Storage. Was travelling in and out of Manchester and stored my luggages there. 15sqft was plenty enough room for 8 luggages and 8 hand carries. Felt that all my items were safe and secured on the property! Can't recommend them enough. The staff during check-in and check-out were so lovely! Definitely coming back if I need extra storage.

Had the best experience with them. The staffs were very nice and warmly. We happened to had the late move in and didn’t realise it wasn’t 24 hours reception and we were locked out. One of the staffs Daniel had to drove 40 mins back to the store to let us in and still being extremely nice and helpful. It makes me realise they truly try their best to benefit all the customers. Amazing service and highly recommend if you are looking for storage unit in Manchester City Center!

Very greedy money grabbing company - don't be fooled with the fancy website and all the customer care rubbish. Big Yellow rip customers off worse than any other storage company out there, they try and increase your monthly payments every few months by more than 10% Stay clear of this Company at all cost. I had a fantastic experience with them and if there’s any company you should store with it’s them. The person who helped me is called Callum and he honestly delivered the best customer service. He was patient and understanding. I experienced some delay with getting my storage boxes to their office and they were about to close. He waited for me and even checked on me to make sure I got there safe. Definitely a 10/10 experience. I got a 30% student discount as well :)

The staff are very nice and very hands on. I booked a month in advance and they offered me an amazing deal and have phoned me a few times to see if I had any questions and to make sure I knew how the process goes. Once getting there the staff were very helpful and funny! The storage locker was in an immaculate state and the whole process was a breeze! Thank you very much!

Was storing some things @ Big Yellow Storage whilst in the process of moving. Had some issues out of my control however Callum and Danny who were on reception were fantastic. They both made me feel really comfortable and were so supportive the whole process. Used Big Yellow to store our belongings for 3+ months while moving house. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The unloading area is inside, everything seems very secure with pin codes linked to your storage room. They have good links with removal people which makes everything go smoothly. Highly recommend.

Biggest bunch of drama queens I have ever come across. I plugged my laptop in to one of their power sockets to update my inventory and they had an adult tantrum about it. They said it was "major" incident and used it as an excuse to remove my extended hours access. Along other crimes against humanity like using their toilet too often and taking a nap while parked in their car park. After that I left. If you want a professional service look elsewhere. Lock n Store is a good place to start.

Absolutely brilliant service, all of the staff were lovely and polite and helpful, the unit was easy to access and had the added bonus of making me feel like a secret agent typing in access codes and stuff. All seemed clean and covid-friendly. Would really recommend if you're looking for storage!

Started storing with Yellow last week, needed a whole house's worth stored for 6 months and the whole process was so easy and smooth. The room was clean, covered and there are big trolleys which make everything easy. The staff were lovely, security is good and I feel so much more at ease knowing I don't need to worry about my possessions. Whole moving day could have gone very differently had I gone with another company!

A very bright and ultra modern, which made me think it would be expensive but I was wrong. The team running the place are really friendly and helpful, they offered me a great deal on storage even though I only needed it short term for a house move, also a great discount on a moving pack which had everything I needed from cardboard boxes, tape gun, bubble wrap to marker pen.

Super friendly staff with very reasonable introductory rates. Sizes of units ranging from tiny to huge, cancel anytime with just 1 weeks notice! We used big yellow in between moving house, and Stefan, Donna, and Danny made the whole process super easy and seamless. Plenty of Trollies/dolly carts/hand carts available to easily move your bits in/out of storage. They are Proof that storing all your earthly possessions in a lock up in between house moves ain’t so bad after all.

Wow this has to be one of the best self storage places I've ever used. *Danny and the team at reception are extremely helpful. *Phones and desks are always manned. *Parking to off load your goods is indoor. *Secure key pad access to unlock alarm for storage. *Secure keypad to call lifts. *Flat bed trolley and hand pump lifts free to use. *The storage is immaculately clean. *We got additional insurance on our goods due to the value. We have had goods delivered too the storage. All in all its been such a great experience our goods are still being held there will update again once we collect to finish off the review.
