Would highly recommend Adam Shawcross for any property sale and/or purchase. Adam works with such honesty and integrity, and ensures he has covered all bases before you part with such a large amount of money! Adam is very informative about the buying and selling process and happy to answer any question, no matter how small or silly it may seem! We had a last minute hiccup with our bank and Adam was both persistent with the bank in resolving the issue whilst still managing to keep us calm and informed. Would highly recommend Adam and Legal Secretary Julie to anyone looking to buy or sell property, be it commercial or residential! Thanks again for everything.

I contacted them on July as I was being a domestic violence victim and I needed assistance. The lady who picked up the phone asked me for my details and told me they'd call me back as soon as possible. I'm still waiting for the call. Domestic violence seems not to be a problem when the victim is entitled to free legal aid. I'm so sorry for women that are suffering from this massive problem in this country.

After my mum passed away I have dealt with alot of companies, so I could sort out my mum's estate. They have all offered their sympathy and condolences and have been extremely professional. But butcher and Barlow I found them to be cold callous offered no sympathy no condolences whatsoever. It took them three days just to return my phone call. When they handed me my mum's will I found them to be very rude and ignorant. All they were bothered about is making money and offering to do the probate at a cost of £835. I ended up doing the probate myself online for free. I would not recommend Butcher and Barlow for anything I have found their manor rude, cold and callous.

Won't get in touch without you emailing three times, unresponsive, unclear and won't send you your paperwork (deeds etc)... Its nearly been a year since we moved in, which was heavily drawn out because of this solicitors (Emma) and we've still received no paperwork, instead we've been notified, by email, that we now owe a small administrative charge of around £8... No apology for the huge inconvenience and delay just an unexplained 'administration' charge!

At a difficult time Clare was there every step of the way, she was professional with a caring side.My late Farther passed away just before the first lock down, and so every thing was carried out remotely, we were kept informed and proceeding went incredibly smoothly and surprisingly quick. Every avenue was followed up with the appropriate professional’s investigation and report. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always there if I had a question.
