Got my bike assessed and serviced at the Store. Great staff in bike department. Very friendly and knowledgeable. When I collected the bike I had my young son with me so a staff member offered to carry my downstairs and out of the store to my car. Excellent service. Bike looks and feels much better now.

A very good store. Staff were eager to rectify a problem I had with an online order. It was sorted whilst I was in there. Staff helped me move my order to the car as well. Will definitely use again. We'll done

Dropped my old bike off for a gold service and upgrade on certain parts, lads on the bike department are great. Knowledgeable, friendly and from what I saw hard working, special mention to Michael who carried out the work on my bike 👍Top Guy

Ordered a child car seat for collection. This was from the Leigh store. Welcoming friendly staff and quick service. Good parking though the road layout to the car park is a little complex for first time visitors. Would give a 4.5 because of this.

Always very efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They always have time to answer any questions you might have. And, if they are not sure of the answer, they will take time to attempt to find the answer. You never feel you are a nuisance, good quality service at all times.

I ordered a satnav which I wanted fitting. I found the process very easy The fitting was completed so well after the assistant had disinfected my car. The payment process was very simple too

What a wonderful team. A young girl at the store ensure that my roof bars and box were fitted in time for our UK honeymoon. She went above and beyond to chase UK depot's to get the parts we needed and to the Leigh branch on time. She installed the roof bars and box and ensured to get it quality assured and demonstrated the product really well too. A really helpful member of staff that clearly cares about her job and providing an outstanding service. I will use this store again.

I booked my two sons bikes in for a health check and Daryl was over and above helpful with getting the repairs and replacement tires done quickly for us. He kept in touch with me over the next day to let me know what work needed doing and how much it would be. I was called the next day by Connor to come and pick up the bikes and again he was so helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back as the service from both employees was excellent. After some research we decided to look at one of the e-bikes in Halfords. We were served by Connor who was very helpful and knowledgeable. After a short discussion and a quick test ride we decided to go for a Carreera folding bike. Perfect for us. And really pleased it would be available in just a week. Great service, very happy.

Knowledgable, friendly staff, my dog was welcomed which is nice for once. Always a clean, bright store. Would definitely recommend, great product range, viewed products online the day before, went to store and located then straight away.

Had the 10 point winter check done today by Dan at the Leigh store. Fabulous service. Very knowledgeable and explained everything. Then went into store to purchase phone holder and other items. Dan was very helpful and took time to show me different types so i had all the info needed to make my purchases. Thank you Dan. I will be back soon for the in car camera and set up.

From placing my order online to collection of my new bike the process was trouble free. They kept me updated of the progress of the bike and sent me two reminders so I wouldn't forget the collection timeslot. The bike was in perfect condition and thoroughly checked over, and they even fitted some accessories that I bought to go on the bike. The staff at the Leigh, Greater Manchester branch were superb. Gary and Conner were exceptional, very polite and very knowledgeable, also Conner took the bike and put it in my car. All in all a great service by people who really care about their customers and a very pleasurable buying experience, so much so that I've already ordered a new bike for my wife. Thanks Halfords of Leigh.

I have purchased my grandsons police bike .the staff member that took my order was experienced had time to explain and look for products that were not on the shelf. Popped in to Halfords, Leigh to price up my windscreen wipers, I got one but didn't think they had the other, as my wipers are different sizes. The gentleman cashier was surprised when I told him and searched on his computer for the correct size, even coming out to measure the wiper on my car. He was so patient, knowledgeable and kind, even fitting them before I realised how he'd done it. Superb customer service, it's not the first time I've had good service from this store and would highly recommend.

Darryl, Connor and Josh upstairs in the bike dept were awesome, friendly, super knowledgeable and really really helpful. We bought 3 bikes, accessories and a few extras. As novice cyclists, they got us kitted out and on the road. Nothing too much trouble! Thanks guys really appreciated your service. 👍👍👍

Visited for a bulb to be fitted to my car. All staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Fitted the bulb quickly and was definitely worth the small fee, I'd looked on YouTube and above my limited abilities.

Josh was an nice, funny, friendly, and really really helpful. I bought my new bike there, and he gave me tips on how to maintain my buke and if needed i could come in for servicing with a simple not to costly purchase Had a good long chat with him 😂 was quite entertaining

Took advantage of the Halfords Bike Exchange, was given very fair price ( much easier than private sale). Looked at options to upgrade, was served by Melissa, she was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, giving me good advice and tips to help me choose the right bike for my needs. Would certainly recommend to others.

Fantastic experience at Leigh Halfords today chiding my daughters first bike. Friendly staff Andy and co worker helped us to decide on the perfect bike, then went to help further by trying to trace the bike we wanted, then had nothing but patience as my daughter changed her mind! Very happy and recommend this store 100% thank you! We visited today (Saturday) at 5pm :)

I came to Halfords in Leigh this evening, to enquire how much it would be to have an indicator bulb fitted and the lad who served me, and then fitted the bulb (Josh), was very polite and very professional and gave very good customer service, like nothing was too much trouble for him. Every time I have attended Halfords in Leigh, I find that all the staff are helpful and knowledgeable in their area of sales. Nice one Halfords Leigh 👍🏻

Great customer service from Neil Stout! I have an old bike, in generally good condition as hardly been used. I want to donate it to a Ukrainian refugee family but needs a bit of attention. Nothing was too much trouble for Neil who carried the (heavy) bike from and back to my car, and tried his best to fix it there and then. And always with a smile. Thank you, Neil! Alan B

Just called in today thinking they open at 9am like it says on their website and on the signs outside the store. On 9am a girl pushes the door to be ajar and says we've been open since 8am!!I said about the website and signs and just said they need updating. I'd been sat in the car park like someone else had for 15 minutes to get in and out. I then paid in cash for the items and no money in the till to give me change so another 10 minutes waiting. This is why people shop online and Halfords you need to sort your opening hours out!!!

Halfords is definitely trying to compete with online only shops these days. Prices are competitive and they stock some very good quality products under own brands (bike locks, socket sets, trolley jack, electric cool boxes.

Went here to have a media system fitter and was greeted by the ‘manager’ who said they don’t have any fitters despite being told they did by another member of staff. Halfords booking system allows you to book and then you drive there and can’t have it fitted. Highly suggest the ‘manager’ attends some customer service training and understands how to treat customers.

My issue is with Halfotds Internet and Web chat. My order was due on Friday by 4pm. No text or email to say my item was ready for collection. On Sunday I used Halfords Webchat. This could not tell me where my item was. I was given a reference number and was told someone from the shop would contact me. By 11:45hrs on Monday no contact by text, mail or phone call so I decided to walk to the shop to see what was happening. Apparently my item had arrived on Friday as scheduled. The member of staff who served me was very friendly and apologised for what had happened. The price for the item I ordered was cheaper than any other provider. Would have got 5 stars had I been informed that my item had arrived.

I called in to get some engine coolant for my car - I was assisted by Scott who was really helpful and directed me to the correct product that I needed. Scott also set me up with a Halfords card and got me £5.00 off my bill, and informed me of other offers available. He made the process very easy and I will definitely be returning to this store.

Bought a new battery on 21/11/22 put it on charge for 24hrs with an intelligent charger to make sure battery was fully uo scatch didn't turn car over as I thought it should. So put back on charge until full charged started car again was just as bad. So before I took it back I tried again only to find the battery completely flat. I took the battery back today 28/11/22 only to be told we got another problem battery, and I can't swap the battery I had to go back put back on charge for 12 hrs then test it again this is only going to be the same as before The manager was robotic stuck on the lines there's obviously a problem with some batteries instead of letting me swap for another battery I'm treated like a person who knows nothing but the thing is I do and unlike the robot manager. If I could have given no stars I would and this is the last time I spend a penny in a store that's treats its customer the way I was today

Bought a car seat and asked for a free car seat demo. The seat itself is great but the demo left a lot to be desired. I was stood on the busy car park with my 9 month old in the middle of December for over 45 minutes. 3 Halfords employees later and the seat was finally in, but no one was able to explain to me how to move the seat back so I could actually fit my baby in it. I had to lie her on the back seat whilst I wrestled with my old isofix which I had taken out so they could get in the back, get it fitted back in the car so I could get home with her safely in her old seat. My partner then had to read the instructions and fit the seat properly before we could try it out.

My order was cancelled, no refund has been issued. After contacting Halfords I was informed my item has been reordered. I have not received anything. I've spoken to the live chat on 2 separate occasions with no positive outcome at all. After a further call to Halfords I was put in touch with the store who advised they could reorder the product or give me a refund which I asked for. Refund was received promptly but it was so much hassle I won't bother ordering online from them again.
