There's usually a long queue in this branch. Although I've not experienced it myself. I've heard staff being rude about customers and talking about them once they leave. Everyone can hear exactly what they are saying. If you are in a hurry, and there's other customers in here. I suggest you use another branch as you will have a long wait. Sorry but, this branch is not the same as others. Definitely needs more training and less rudeness.

Halifax in Leigh's opening hours are pathetic,not open on a Saturday is shocking,that is when a lot of people can only get to a bank because of work etc. Also why close at 3 pm, surely later is better the same as shops do,ie looking after their customers.

Not impressed with service today - I have tried to make on appointment twice to set up a new savings account. First got cancelled and I was told to go to Bolton! . Tried again to book and appointment- women who was in the shop nearly slammed door in my face . Was not interested in doing anything for me . Seriously thinking about moving my current account and house insurance next time. Very poor !

Piece of paper stuck in window says to use wigan branch.

Went to pay wages in on saturday to find branch closed until further notice, nearest branch in wigan not helpful if you dont drive

Been with the Halifax since I was 16 yrs old now 52yrs mi went inn today trying to open a bank account for my daughter to be greeted by a man called jimmy who f rom the off had a attitude with me and was just unwilling to help me or my daughter, he would not find a way to help me and was completely rude.Went to the next bank down from the Halifax who could not have been helpful in her opening her account .i am also moving from the Halifax as i am not going to be treated like that by a person who clearly doesn’t know what they doing.am impressed with Barkleys bank and look forward to banking with them.

A joke waiting for customer service. Waited up to half an hour to even be acknowledged by anyone. Ended up walking out. Better service at Barclays, glad it ain't my bank.

simply tryed to deposit hundreds of pound coins today in my son savings account, to be met by the most rude girl behind the desk, she was already frustrated re her printer not working i know this as she constantly had her head in her hands saying "for god's sake" then because i asked her for a inventory of all my sons payments to be made she got very angry and was very annoyed at my more than reasonable request, i asked if this was a problem for her and she told me to "SIT DOWN" so i asked to speak to the manage as i didnt appreciate being spoken to like that especially in front of my 8 year old son, she stormed off and we was left for over 15mins waiting waiting and waiting...she took my sons bank book, all the money??? we was non the wiser, i had to ask another memeber of staff to go retrieve my things! no sign of any bank manager let alone the rude bad false finger nailed girl! i can not wait to shut my account with these incompitant check out girls...customer service at its worse! i wouldnt mind but i was trying to put £600 in to the bank, surely we have a right to ask for a receipt of this and any other monies that go in over the past few months? surely its not the customers fault the printer is broken and the min wage cashier is i n a mood? surely its not acceptable to speak to a paying customer in this way let alone in front of an 8 year old child? whats going on halifax?? you have lost a great earning customer here, sack her and get a girl in who WANTS to be there!
