Myself, my daughter and two grandsons, visited the Disney Newport bay hotel in Paris. This was a package deal booked through hays travel agency. Our visit was from the 28th August until the 1st September. On the 30th August my 9 year old grandson had a cassette, containing 24 games for his Nintendo switch was stolen from our room.
While I understand that this is not the fault of hays travel agency, I could kick myself, for not researching the Newport bay hotel before I booked. Researching a holiday is something I always do, unfortunately I trusted the travel agency offering this particular hotel in a package deal. (Surely they vet the hotels they recommend)
Imagine my horror, when I looked at the reviews when I got home. 436 terrible reviews, 617 poor reviews and 1,463 average reviews. So this is a total of 2,463 average and below reviews!! I have asked Hays travel to answer this question, however despite sending 2 emails I have as yet not received a reply to this question, only an email saying that they have contacted Disney directly, who have said it can take up to 11 weeks to reply! (Good luck with that though, I have emailed Disney twice and still not received a reply. Please if anyone reads to the bottom of this email (sorry for the length) DO NOT book the the Newport bay hotel. We paid nearly £3.500 for a dream holiday! Our abiding memory is of a little boy, totally distraught at the loss of his games

Had an unreal experience with a young lady named Sophie. Booked many holidays with her, 10/10 experience every time, so helpful when I need to amend my booking. Highly recommend Sophie!! :)

Booked a holiday today a lovely lady called Joanne helped us, she was fantastic, friendly, not at all pushy, and extremely helpful

I took out a travel card because I was cruising through numerous countries but as soon as I tried to use it it was declined so I tried the App completely useless then I rang the strangely named “help line” after inputting my name, card number, date of birth etc etc etc then having them all read back to me then having to press numerous keys to confirm all my details I was told the balance of my account, I know the balance so it gave me lots of other useless information then, FINALLY, I was put through to the call centre in God knows what country where they hung up!

I have done a lot of travelling over the years have never had such bad treatment from a travel agent it's been unbelievable could have lost our holiday have been ignored and lied to avoid this place I will be reporting it to there head office AVOID

The staff here are incredible. We spent nearly 3 hours with them to rescue a honeymoon for my daughter after Boris put Turkey on the no travel list. They sorted a great hotel in Greece, they wouldn't quit till it was all sorted.
