Whilst some of the intrepid travellers to London were making their way home, other Harriers runners were preparing for race two in the Central Lancs Grand Prix. Lostock 6 miler was the venue for race two and the wind and rain was relentless making for very tricky conditions. However, What a race it was –

What an amazing weekend for Alani Dumbuya and Leigh Harriers when she won her first England vest and smashed the international field in the shot. She not only won the event, she also broke her own club record with a throw of 16.64m, a truly amazing performance doing herself, her country and her club proud.
Great atmosphere tonight at the first of 3 nights of Club Championships.
