Alani Shines in Sweden

What an amazing weekend for Alani Dumbuya and Leigh Harriers when she won her first England vest and smashed the international field in the shot. She not only won the event, she also broke her own club record with a throw of 16.64m, a truly amazing performance doing herself, her country and her club proud.
John Hodgson

We are sad to announce the passing today (8th September 2024) of John Hodgson. John was a member of Leigh Harriers for many decades and was always to be found in the gym, sharing his wisdom with other members whilst pumping iron to his hearts content. RIP John 1945-2024.
