The staff are amazing, from the minute you walk up to reception to the dentists and their assistants. Everyone is friendly and supportive. As someone who isn't a fan of the dentists, the Birch House staff make me feel comfortable and always go out of their way to allow the patients time to settle.

1 month agoI've been there a few times but recently I have a big problem with the tooth they treated me there and I can't get an appointment there for several months because my dentist doesn't work there anymore. 😳😓🦷

3 months agoMy Dentist/ My Thieves. As you all know, NHS appointments are not a thing anymore. I needed dental work done, so I had to join privately. Anyhow, fast forward to the issues that I encountered. 1. Receptionist John needs to review his attitude when speaking to customers on the he phone. Surely, being unhelpful and rude is not part of providing decent customer service. Tbh, after speaking to him last time, I did think to go down to the surgery and speak to him face to face. Very unprofessional! 2. My first appointment was alright however, I nearly drowned a few times due to the dentist nurse not knowing how to "hoover" the saliva and the water. After the appointment I was chased to complete my dental plan which was around £1000. I even said to them that I'm going to do it in my own financial pace. Did they hear that? Nope. After a lilting while, I made another appointment to continue with my dental work. Surprise! My dentist left so the only appointment they had was at the weekend with another dentist. Fine. I say. The very morning before the appointment-more exactly 15minutes, My thieves called me to cancel it. Amazing! I book another Sat in two weeks. Nice. This appointment was to have a filling replaced. I turn up to the appointment only to find out that the dentist is just going to have a look for 10mins charge me £50 and book another appointment to have some with done. Frustrating! As it happened, I called one week in advance to cancel the appointment as I could not make it, only to realise that if I wanted to see another dentist, I needed to pay £50 for another assessment because for some reason the previous dentis cannot be trusted. I was officially being robbed over the phone. The thing is, they already had the money because they charge you a deposit of £50 when you make an appointment. And to top it up, this dentist, only worked at the weekend so the next appointment available was a month down the line. Shocking! Well, having all dung thrown at me plus John's stinking attitude I just asked for the appointment to be cancelled which ofcourse meant that My thieves got the £50 deposit anyway. Great dental service ! 👌 Truly amazing! 👏👏👏. Very well done for not giving a toss about your customers. P.S. Don't bother asking me to write an email to customer support because I won't. I already wasted time and money with My dentist. If you really care and you want to make a difference for your customers, train all your reception staff to high standards and have a system where dentists ,who are highly regarded professionals, are able to trust each other's assessment and not rip people off by charging them check up/assessment fee everytime they need to see another dentist within your practice. Also, be clear to your customers about the dentist's schedule; are they only working at the weekend, part time or full-time. This is basic customer care. See you...NEVER!

4 months agoPaid in full for dental work and got no satisfaction. Had to go to another practice .......what a difference. Dentist Nimesh, whilst being lovely, made me lose confidence in the practice and I felt robbed of my hard earned cash. The constant 'battles' with staff to get dental satisfaction was extremely distressing.

5 months agoAfter a bit of a bad experience with a Bupa dentist having three attempts, at significant cost but still failing to remove a broken molar, Natasha removed the problem tooth quickly and painlessly, she totally relieved any anxiety I had and the whole experience was exceptional! Thank you so much!

5 months agoI visited the dental practice for the first time today (25th Feb) as a direct access patient (hygiene appointment for non-patients of the practice). I was looked after by Gemma and her lovely dental nurse who did a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth and explaining after care. Due to the care I received, I have now booked in for a dental check up and a follow up hygiene appointment in 3 months time. After being let down by my other dental surgery, I hope this to be my ongoing dentist.

8 months agoI have been going to mydentist since I was little and would definitely recommend it. My dentist Nimesh is so lovely and friendly. Many people fear the dentist but he definitely puts you at ease as he is always happy and smiling. I have just completed my course of Invisalign, Nimesh took the time to thoroughly explain the whole process and answer my questions and most importantly made sure I was happy with the end results.

8 months agoNimesh and Courtney are an absolute dream team. I’ve been terrified of the dentist since I was little, and had to have a lot of orthodontic work in my teen years which really cemented my fear. Nothing like what I experience here with them, they make me instantly feel comfortable even when undergoing not so comfortable procedures, they don’t mind my nervous questions and always check in to make sure I’m not in any pain, and that I’m aware of everything that is happening. Not only are they lovely people, they’re also complete professionals and give me full confidence. I can’t thank them enough for making me feel happy about getting dental treatment! Literally providing smiles all round. If all dentists were like them, I’m sure everyone would have amazing teeth.

10 months agoMy previous dentist changed to private consulting so the receptionists were kind enough to put me on their NHS waiting list and very quickly a vacancy became available so they added me to their NHS patients.

11 months agoI had veneers done at my dentist, Leigh by Nimesh and dental Nurse Claire. I was nervous about my treatment but Nimesh and Claire put me at ease throughout my treatment. I would recommend Nimesh to anyone as he is a true gentleman, extremely professional and excellent at his job. I can smile widely without hiding my teeth as they truly are Amazing and that is thanks to both Nimesh and Claire. Thank you

1 year agoAlways been happy with this dental practice unfortunately my prefared dentist is going private. Information given indicated that by getting In touch with the surgery I could register with another dentist. This is not the case I have been informed that there is no NHS patients currently being accepted. Tried to register with other dentist but they too are not taking on new NHS patients. Visited the surgery for a update I have had to go onto a waiting list. Bare in mind I've paid my natial insurance and taxes up until I retired age 66 it's really upsetting to find I now have no dentist .

1 year agoHad a 12.30 appointment at this dental surgery in Leigh. I live approximately an hour away but my 6 year old foster child goes to this dentist and we have not yet been able to move to a closer dentist. So after he woke up with pain in his upper gum it was clear to see swelling and that he had a problem which is why I called his dentist. Reception was great and got him the 12.30 appointment. I am a working foster parent so had to leave work early to take him to the dentist. We hit several bad patches of queuing traffic and temporary lights while travelling to Leigh. We arrived 8 minutes late. Reception called up to the dentist who said we would need to rebook an appointment. Now I'm not sure turning away a 6 year old boy in pain is the right thing to do and there was not another soul in the waiting room! infact after speaking to another dentist it is almost illegal and not fair on the boy who now has to wait hours in an emergency dentist. I will be pursuing this and certainly changing surgeries to one closer to home for him.

1 year agoI have recently been having cosmetic dental work with Nimesh karsondas and I am over the moon with the results, his standard of work is fantastic, he is very professional & kind, I felt confident and at ease, with him right the way through my treatment, his assistant Claire has a lovely caring and professional attitude also. The whole place has a very friendly and approachable atmosphere. I highly recommend this dental practice to everyone.

1 year agoBy far the best service i have recieved at a dental surgery. In particular the professionalism and care that Nimesh took with the two procedures that i had has entirely changed my outlook on going to the dentist as a whole. I cannot thank you enough.

1 year agoThis Dental practice is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. The staff are all very welcoming from the moment you walk in. They are also very good at giving you plenty of reminders so that you don’t miss your appointments. My dentist Nimesh Karsondas is amazing he and his assistant are very professional and put you at ease straight away. My children 12 and 4 also like going to the dentist as they are very looked after by Nimesh Karsondas. Yes I would 100% recommend this dental practice.

1 year agoIt's all about care and attention a dentist takes in your treatment. At mydentist you don't feel like you are in and out. My dentist really took the time to fully review my teeth, make recommendations and give me the space to make my choice. My teeth feel good and yeah I don't have to keep going back unnecessarily. Definitely a dentist that cares about teeth rather than previous profit factories I've been to.

1 year agoA nice clean dentist practice, very friendly staff and skilled dentists, I always go here for any work needed, as I can’t go on the NHS I pay private for it and the costs are reasonable. If you ever need major work doing they do offer payment plans. Thankfully I’ve never had to have anything like that done yet but if I do I’ll be sure to head to this practice.

1 year agoExcellent experience at the My Dentist , Bedford Street. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Dentist was very professional and made my children feel safe and comfortable and reasured them with any treatment she did. Great staff and very clean and hygienic clinic.

1 year ago3 years after these beginners tried to extract several teeth for a quick buck , the repairs done at a proper dentist are still in good standing . Avoid this dentist especially the french one

2 years agoHad a checkup with Yasir the dentist today and it was fabulous, he was really nice and put me right at ease. I hadn't been to the dentist for a while because of no on taking on patients and I was worried my mouth health had suffered. He efficiently performed my exam, making me feel comfortable and explaining what he was doing throughout - really impressed! The surgery was incredibly clean and covid secure and the receptionist lovely and smiley. Very happy client!

2 years agoAbsolutely brilliant!! I struggled to get a dentist and they took me on and had all my treatment done within 3 weeks!! I didn't feel fobbed off and the reception are amazing!! Not sure what these bad reviews are as the staff was bubbly and welcoming. I traveled 20 miles to get here and will continue to use them for future as the dentist Kemi was amazing. 2 years agoFirs want to appoligaise for my English! 8th of December I called to over 15 dentist and finally Mydentis was the place when they book new patients. They offer me appointment for 23th February which was 2, 5 months! Ok understand that situation and accept waiting time. Today I receive letter about UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES and cancel my appointment. When I call them ask about that someone told me that they dont take new patients BUT if I want to come privet and pay there is no problem! WHAT ABOUT MEDICAL OATH? IF I am private patients and will pay that medical oath working but if I want to by NHS that not working? If someone can help me where to make official complaint about that ridiculous situation plese email me! But can promise you (mr dentist) I will not give up until will complain about your UNPROFESSIONAL treatment!

2 years agoAbsolutely shocking receptionist, due to covid my son was unable to attend in January after registering and receptionist has now told me that my son is no longer registered as a patient and will not be seen. I'm disgusted at the receptionist.
