When you pay for car park you expect nice, well kept place- instead of this you get muddy paths. You walk around pond and can't see the water. Car park closed at 5pm ?. Other car park not opened. Not recommended this place

Always an amazing relaxing walk around the flash, bumping into sheep, horses and even alpacas (slightly off trail, but always good to explore!). Take wellies for the ultimate off-road experience ?

Always a lovely place to go for a walk, my son enjoyed the new park and feeding the duckies.
I do think gendered toilets would be a good idea, having to clean pee off the toilet seat before going to the bathroom isnt ideal.

Nice cafe with nice staff (cafes a bit pricey though) toilets available, lake and birdwatches are always a nice activity. Obviously iron man starts here so it's been busy there recently and they are building a new kids play park at the minute so I'm not sure there's anywhere to play for now for kids (except like the grass and path bits) lots of trees to climb though!!

Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful simple layout. Easy to do a circular walk. The bird hides are very well located. An excellent opportunity to observe nature without causing any concern. I saw numerous herons, some flying very close to the hide. Deers feeding at leisure. I spotted lots of birds I could tick off in my book of British birds. The cafe was very busy and not everything on the menu was available, however my toated teacake and cappuccino was very tasty. Toilets clean though floor muddy which can't be helped. Also very dog friendly. I would highly recommend this Nature Reserve.

Wasn't a bad walk but wouldn't rush back to it. Can get extremely busy here but was very quiet once you'd past the crowd and strolled further out from the cafe area. You can also walk along the canal if your prefer.

Gorgeous lake with lots of wildlife. Lots of dens to wait and watch different birds.
Lots of dog walkers and a cute little coffee shop too with lots of hot food choices plus hot drinks and ice creams.
Parking is just £1.50 for a whole day and only 30 mins drive from The Trafford Centre.

Nice walk around Pennington flash with the dog . Just a shame young idiots on motorbikes was flying up and down the tracks not very ideal when your out walking with your daughter was a nice peaceful walk before they turned up more needs to be done to stop these idiots gaining access and wrecking the tracks

Worth venturing out here if you have a few hours spare. Parking is cheap at £1.50 for the whole day and there's plenty to do for the whole family.
You can do a simple walk, feed the ducks, birdwatching using the special huts and there's nothing stopping you from taking a bike ride here.

Great place for a walk, either by yourself, family and even with your dog. Plenty of different routes to walk from short walks to long ones all the way around the lake. Loads of ducks to feed and there was a couple of ice cream vans and food vans to great drinks and a bite to eat.
Even though it was busy it was easy to social distance when walking round here with the many different routes and the wide paths and open fields, just incase.
