Greenhalghs Management,
I am writing to express my concern regarding the working conditions of your staff at the Leigh store. During my recent visit, I noticed that the staff was working in extremely cold weather conditions, with the doors of the store remaining open despite the temperature being zero degrees Celsius.
While I understand the importance of customer service and maintaining an open environment, the well-being of your staff should be of utmost priority. Exposing them to such harsh weather conditions without adequate protection, such as fleeces or other appropriate clothing, is not only uncomfortable but also poses a potential health risk.
You should take immediate action to address this issue by providing your staff with suitable attire to ensure their comfort and safety during cold weather. This will not only demonstrate your commitment to employee welfare but also create a more positive and productive work environment. Without them you have no shop!

Lovely staff.
Will the owners stop being stingy and get an extra card payment machine. It's not much fun leaning over people to make a payment and surely most people pay on card. Nice pies tho, proper nice

Great little family bakery in Leigh. Proper pies, pasties, cakes and bread ???
Traditional Lancashire butter pie is spot on!!
Really friendly staff who take time to have a conversation with you and not treat you as 'just another customer'.

£3.90 for a sandwich. It’s good but not that good.
The unfortunate thing is people are paying it. If like me others wouldn’t pay that for a sandwich then they would have to stop robbing folk.

£1.35 for a small egg custard seems extortionate and the pastry wasn't properly cooked either.

What a lovely bakery! I went in to ask if they had anything vegan, and was surprised to find they had sausage rolls and pasties. The lady in orange (manageress?) was so nice. She asked me to call in next time I passed to say how we liked them, but as we were only passing through Leigh, I thought I'd do this instead. Yes, nice lady, the rolls were better than Gregg's, as the man on Facebook said! Hope we're back this way soon. Open one in Liverpool please!

Friendly staff, and to me the best hot pies, pasties, sausage rolls etc around! Some things are better value than others, and of course great cakes etc.

I absolutely love the Leigh store. Everyone is so friendly and always cheerful. My son Nathan is almost 19 and autistic and we’ve been going in for years. Everybody always has time to say hello whilst serving me. Lesley is especially brilliant in the shop. Love love love everything I’ve bought and will return every week for more. Thanks to everyone for their polite service.
