What a fantastic place ! Staff are super friendly and so helpful, and they always go above and beyond to help out. None of this ask my GP stuff with this place. Just phone up, and they will help. Sarah, on reception, is amazing and has been so helpful today, and in the past, I can't recommend this place enough

1 month agoWas sent for an appointment with over 13 patients waiting the african agency doctor decided it was OK to walk out and leave us all to our own devices. This has left me going to A+e again because the g.p we employed should not be even given licences. Its beyond a joke that its ok to just yo walk out on your patients . This creature of a man should be struck off. He won't though he will be fine as all the nhs staff are . The public are the ones who pay their bloody wages always loose out . Ridiculous I hope his child needs surgery and the doctors and nurses are on strike that day . Or the best outcome is he goes to work in one of the great hospitals in Nigeria.

2 months agoBeen with this practice since it first opened, now cant even get an appointment to see a dr for a month which is ridiculous. All the online stuff u need to go through just to even speak to a dr is a joke. Some of the receptionists are lovely like Alison she always helps me and the nurse Amanda to . But it's a dr I want to see when needed.

7 months agoI’ve had 3 short notice appointments this week which is great but today I was really upset in the surgery and one of the ladies on reception really looked after me. Thank you

8 months agoBeware of the practice manager! UPDATE - Beware woman claiming to be “manager”! Reply has ignored main point of being stripped of the only support available, caller on my phone! Original review cont… Went here for help having spoken to reception that morning; I explained the current issues and that I had just received the wrong meds again…they advised - walk-in centre then register there. (New Year bank hols - time crunch) I explained I had lost trust in the other GP. Practice manager, here, relayed deadly information from “someone” at the other medical centre. Basically told to swap from my current meds to my old meds without a washout period - potentially deadly advice! A non clinical lay person relaying advise on medication?! I have 20+ years in the medical profession myself, my shock and horror could not be contained. My portrayal of the expected outcome of taking these medications as advised was rather animated and very blunt! I was on my own with no support so while I waited for her again I called family for some calm and to help me. Once the manager returned I asked my caller to “hang on”. I got off my seat and walked towards her for the next update. The practice manager abruptly announced “you’re not allowed phones in here”. That was my last straw - I have patchy recollection of anything said from that point! I left, I imagine, rather rapidly. Clearly my emotions were high, I’d already explained it’s touching 8 hours now, that I’ve been calling/waiting/repeating myself for, so the need for support at this point was obvious. What sort of caring establishment strips an emotional, upset and frustrated patient of their only avenue of support, a voice on their phone??? 8 hours of trigger stacking at the pinnacle of 2 months deadly prescription mistakes. LSVP cannot be blamed for the errors leading up to my arrival; BUT the callous, contemptuous attitude displayed by the Practice Manager regarding emotional support requirements was abhorrent. (Long, dark hair receptionist would be an excellent replacement practice manager in my opinion. Before the manager took over and my fog descended, I hadn’t needed to call anyone!)

1 year agoI rang surgery at 9.50 asked if any appointments they said if I could get there they had one at 10.10, I went got seen to at 10.15. The doctor was very good told me to go for blood test and put urgent on the form. I got prescription, didnt need an appointment for bloods so went straight in at the hospital and was back at home by 10.50. After being ill and struggling for the last 4 weeks or so this is the best day I have had. I cannot fault the surgery whatsoever from reception to doctor to getting the care I needed. I appreciate what they have done for me over these weeks and cannot complain at all.

1 year agoThe receptionist was very lovely and friendly, made me feel welcome. It was my first appointment at the surgery and with Dr Ibrahim and he was a very understanding and professional doctor. Took the time to listen and didn’t rush to finish the appointment. Definitely recommend this surgery if you want a GP to look after you.

1 year agoOnly just joined the surgery and the level customer service is outstanding. Didn't have to wait long to be registered. Receptionists friendly and helpful. Very accommodating and understanding Took my Sutistic son to see Nurse Practitioner Nicky and wow she was amazing she gained his trust straight away and really related to who he was I've never seen him so secure and feeling okay about things after speaking to her, she is outstanding and I'm so relieved to have found someone who will finally listen to him Amazing practice

1 year agoThe lady that we were seen by today was absolutely fantastic. She took her time and was very patient with my daughter and my daughter felt at ease with her. She was very thorough and explored all avenues. Thank you.... you are a credit to the surgery and yourself.

1 year agoI can’t speak highly enough of this GP practice. When I fill in an e-consult form, I always get a phone call back within a day. It’s usually the same day. They always invite me in when they think it needs further action. This even happened in the pandemic. The receptionists work so hard and are always very friendly and helpful. The nurses are all amazing; all my baby’s vaccinations were all done on time which I know isn’t the case everywhere. Since I switched to this GP, the management of my chronic illnesses has massively improved too. Special mention to Dr Ibrahim too who is a brilliant, reassuring doctor who has helped with ME so much. Can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for everything.

1 year agoI found Yvonne was very helpful and sorted my query out very quickly. My only thing I find is not helpful is when ringing the surgery. I wait while a female voice goes through what I consider important items then you are told to wait for a receptionist. Then inevitably a male voice says " I'm sorry all our receptionists are busy, please try later " I have in the recent past tried ringing for an hour and each time I get the man's voice. Can you at least put us on hold and say you are no " x " in the queue. That way you can decide if you want to hold or not.

1 year agoAll too often we are quick to post the negative but not to congratulate the success. When I needed them most, they were quick, compassionate and in my view faultless.

1 year agoSince SSP Health took over this surgery it has become an absolute shambles. (1) Rang surgery for assistance in registering online told 'I don't use the system so can't help' (2) You have to ring 20 times to get through once. It just disconnects the call 95% of the time. It's that bad I just go the surgery if I need to speak to them. Every time you go there the receptionists are on the phone. Just shows how inefficiently it's being run that they are constantly answering calls all day. (3) It's near impossible to get a face to face appointment. I have been told on multiple occasions to use the out of hours GP. Seems like that's a good way of getting rid off all the patients. (4) I went to request details on how to complain to ombudsman provided an e-mail address to complain to first and told to google the ombudsman. Is it not a requirement for surgeries to provide this information? Having said all this, Dr Ibrahim, has been helpful. Pity he is being let down by the team and systems in place.

1 year agoIf I could give a minus review I would do it!!!! The worst GP practice I have been registered in England. And please dont make the effort to answer “we apologise that the experience you have had with the practice has not been a positive one. We welcome any feedback from patients which will ultimately assist us to improve the services we deliver” because its just a copy paste and make your service even more poorly. Look your reviews and realize you are doing SOMETHING WRONG!!! Useless.

1 year agoIf minus was available i would give that to this surgery. We joined when it very first opened and used to be under Dr Lamb (who was brilliant!) However when he left the surgery service fell off a cliff it is that bad now. So where do I start: 1) Receptionists are like dragons (one in particular who has been there a while) not friendly or helpful at all, with such a bad attitude she should not be in a public facing position. 2) You cannot get an actual face to face appointment for love nor money its all telephone consultations (STILL using COVID as an excuse) - how can you see if someone is unwell over the phone!?! That said the GP's based here are useless so maybe it is better to speak to a locum anyway. 3) The phone system is an utter disgrace, listening to a long winded message (that you are paying for!!) only to be cut off as 'all lines are busy'! 4) Continuos care for people with chrionic conditions is abysmal could even be described as dangerous as they do not care about anyones actual health 5) Lazy GP's - the locums are 150% better! Wouldn't recommend to ANYONE! I agree with someone else's comment - they should be struck off!

1 year agoShocking surgery, my step daughter is really poorly and sent for emergency bloods but had to wait 2 weeks for a telephone appointment for the results. She’s worried sick and they are not willing to see her or bring the appt forward. Just neglect

1 year agoI would give then minus stars if this was possible, after a letter was sent from my consultant on the 13th October 2021, to increase my medication, it is now 7th December and it has still not been increased I used to recommend this surgery to people but not any more, it it unacceptable to leave someone with no medication for nearly 2 months. I will be taking this further.

1 year agoI have to agree with the other reviews, as this is the worst GP's I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient with. On multiple occasions I have called for appointments and been informed it will be quicker to do it online. You send personal details and images (in some cases) over with the medical request and hear absolutely nothing back, it is disgusting service and an approach which is making patients suffer unnecessarily.

1 year agoThe Worst… - “…sorry no appointments for baby vaccinations” But he’s due his immunisations..? “Sorry not my problem, we have no nurse” Our baby has been unwell for a week - “…see how your baby is, in 5days and ring back” Went to pick up a antibiotic prescription after this blunder of theirs… - “oh we don't do paper prescriptions, you must be mistaken..does he usually have them electronically?” he’s 5months old!! “Oh here it is!” This surgery Need striking-off Genuinely Shocking.. ‘computer says No! ‘ receptionist

1 year agoI have filled in an online consultation form 3 times and heard nothing back. I have requested my repeat medication though the NHS app and has been rejected asking me to contact the GP. I have explained several times and again through the online system and NHS app request. I work 12 hour night shifts in a spinal unit and it is a 70 mile round trip to work so my travel is over 2 hours per day. I get home at 8:30 am ish depending on traffic and need to be in bed for 9 am in order to get enough sleep. I wake at 5pm and leave at 5:30 pm to get to work by 7pm. I've tried over and over again to phone before and after I go to bed and can never get through. Due to being short staffed over the past 6 months as I'm sure you know as you also are supposed to be HEATHCARE! I've been working upto 7 nights a week and any days I've had off have been at weekends when you are closed. I am currently working 10 nights in a row NO DAYS OFF until Mon 29th November. So PLEASE explain to me how I am supposed to speak to A GP if you don't answer the phone WHEN I'm able to call or reply to online consultation forms I fill in while I'm at work? The type of heathcare I work in is NOT 9 to 5 MON TO FRIDAY ONLY! What is the point of having online consultation when you ignore me? If you don't want me as a patient then please let me know and I will go elsewhere.

2 years agoThe Dr I talked to listened to everything I needed to say, to fully explain my problems.

2 years agoReceptionist with a bad attitude told me the earliest appointment my child could be seen would be the 30th september, but if i did the online consultation forms and download some app i could get seen earlier.. shocking service. EDIT: Apologies don't make my child better, go back to being able to book an appointment through the phone as your current system is really disappointing, and get a new receptionist.

2 years agoAbsolutely shocking. I'm not really sure what's happened to this practice but its not good.

2 years agoNo compassiòn, heartless and no empathy with there patients. I cant believe that after reading all there bad reveiws they are not trying to change there bad staff. All i got when i complain was. "She must be liked because she gets a lot of presents at xmas" Best thing is they can only get better.🙏🙏

2 years agoLiterally losing the Will with this place. Been with them 11 years and only needed then for the past 19 month, no help no support.

2 years agoSince adopting an online consultation system I have found it incredibly difficult to access medical care for myself and my family. I have filled in repeated online consultation forms and no one has contacted me from the practice. Prescription requests seem to disappear into a black hole. It really is a nightmare. It's such a shame as it used to be a great practice.

2 years agoThis practice should be closed down. God help anyone who needs to see a doctor. You get cut off time and time again. Can't see a doctor for 3 weeks with severe pain. Rude receptionists. Advice if your at this practice leave now. It could cost you your life.

2 years agoFor the first time in 5 years i needed to make an appointment to see my doctor so on Mon 12th April i rang for one only to be told i have to fill in a form in online and i will be contacted in the next two days by Wed 14th not heard anything rang to see why they said i had not fill it correctly so did it again it is now a week later Mon 19th only to get a text saying the doctor tried to call me today so i rang the number in the text that i was given to re submit my form and they dident know nothing about it so her i am a week later and still havent got any further to making my appointment . 2 years agocannot get appointment - only 1 GP in the surgery, receptionists rude. Worst doctors surgery I have ever had

2 years agoReceptionist Alison is rude and can't wait to get you off the phone, no sense of wanting to help at all. How she is still there is beyond me.

2 years agoRecently moved to the area and registered here, had the unfortunate experience of being unwell and needing to speak to a GP. Really sorry I rang, receptionist’s manner was awful it was as if I was interrupting her and she couldn’t wait to get off the phone quick enough....Should she read this...We are all busy and would only ring if it was necessary!! I was swiftly advised I could not see a doctor or speak to one on the phone but to complete an online form...Did this and 2 days on not heard anything back..therefore looking at a trip to A&E due to the pain I’m in. Regret registering here..I’m moving elsewhere.

3 years agoI have always received an excellent service from this surgery. Ok sometimes it's hard to get through on the phone and sometimes it's hard to get an appointment but that's most doctors surgeries. The doctors are excellent and always take time to listen and help
