Very dishonest. I sent my watch to them for a new battery, which I was told would cost £18. I later received an email with a revised quote of £51 for a ‘standard quartz service’ with no further explanation. After querying this, I was told that the battery had been replaced but the watch was still not working and this new quote was to service the watch to find the fault. I explained to them that I was very sceptical of this as the watch had been treated well and stored in the original box, and asked them to return it to me. I then took it to a local watch shop who replaced the battery in front of me with no issues - the watch worked perfectly, as I suspected it would. Upon complaining to Mistal, they did reimburse me very quickly for the cost of the new battery, but provided no explanation for the complete lie I had been told, in what I can only assume was an attempt to charge a higher fee. I’m not usually one to post negative reviews but this was an outright lie and not just a small mistake. Really wouldn’t recommend Mistal based on this experience.

1 month agoTERRIBLE!!I wish I had read previous reviews before I sent my EBEL watch. Sent it for a simple change of battery. Paid £85 plus postage. The watch stopped working within 2 weeks after they sent it back. I sent it back again at my own cost. I could not believe it : I received a quote for another £498 without any explanation (I had to call to get one which was not that clear). I refused the quote and asked them to send it back. But wait : they sent the watch without the seal which I almost threw away as so small and in the same bag as the watch. I own several expensive watches and NEVER has this happened. Very unprofessional. I did email the company to complain before leaving this review to give them a chance to explain or apologise and no reply.To me that says it all.

2 months agoMistal time services have repaired my omega watch it looks absolutely fantastic through know fault of Mistal parts was delayed by omega Mistal kept me informed regularly on the situation Omar then informed me that the parts had arrived and Mistal would inform me when it was completed I have some very serious health conditions I have been very concerned of my detterreation I would like to add Mistal time services would not allow me to pay for the service and repair in over 50 years of dealing with watch companies I have never come across generosity like this I would personally like to thank all the staff at Mistal time services Omar Olivia jody and the service team I can't thank you enough yours sincerely mr roden
