Would not reccomend at all! Seated to our table with attitude and not a smile in sight. Tables sticky, cushions on chairs hanging off. After being seated I was then refused a drink, eventually after some discussion this drink was eventually served to me. Not a great start to the meal. After having to also ask to see a menu resulted in us not having many options. Small menu as it is, especially when told after deciding what was wanted that many of the meals were not even in stock, maximum of two vegetarian meals and no vegans meals also. After almost an hour we received our starter, to be fair my starter was very nice no problems with that at all! Asked for another drink as the starter was taken away. Half an hour into waiting for our main there was no sign of our drinks never mind our meal as our waiter was now getting other tables drinks, we then had to go to the front of the kitchen to ask for our drinks again. An hour between the starter and main was really not necessary. I received two kebab sticks some chips and salad, an ok size potion for a main but the quality was not there, the bacon on the chicken kebab was barely cooked, edible though; my family also stated the food was OK but not good enough for the price. Now the main was taken away we asked for a pudding (we all so badly wanted to leave but the little one was craving a dessert). During this time was a trip to the toilet, where I was disgusted to find that the only way to dry hands is a manky old, stinking, dirty, wet towel thrown over a radiator that looked like it had not been washed for a while. Hopefully this hygiene standard does not go into the kitchen too. After waiting an hour and a half now for the pudding we decided to once again check up on the order. Only to find that no one had even started to make the pudding, clear communication problems going on between the staff, quick enough the pudding was delivered and little one said it was nice so at least it was ended with a nice pudding. There are many 5 star reviews so perhaps this was an off day at the restraunt however I will definately not be going back to find out.

Tasty, well priced food. Gary is an amazing chef who will tease your tastebuds. Gorgeous helpful staff. Amazing atmosphere. Unique relaxed style. Friendly & intimate setting. Book to avoid disappointment. One of the best restaurants I've been too.

This place is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. when I feel like having a decent meal, this restaurant comes straightaway to my mind. exeptionalgorgeous and all kinds of food and a large menu.courteous staff, and agreeable vibes. Also important, the price is modest. I suggest this restaurant with no hesitation.

Very nice place. The staff are friendly, and they took good care with my food allergies. Many things on the menu have a spicy kick to them so if you're a spice wuss like me you should check before you order! Everything was very tasty, I am happy to recommend them.

Just spent the evening at The Coal Room, this place is incredible! The food is amazing, the staff are worth their weight in gold and the owner can not do enough to make your evening enjoyable. My family can be very hard to please and they could not say a bad thing at all! From the starters to the coffee, mains and desserts even the service! This is our new venue!! They have really captured the history of Leigh and I love the theme! Well done!!

Another hidden little gem for Leigh. Called in without a reservation and managed to get a table so I would recommend you book. Staff very friendly and attentive but not overly intrusive. Food was amazing especially Ty's hot sauce ?, if you like hot food this is a must. Will be back soon to sample rest of the menu

Decent meal, polite and friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Bring your own alcohol for now. Red devil sauce is very hot, steak ? comes on too of mushrooms and onion so ask if you don't want it. Watch some of the seats and tables as the rough edges plucked our clothes, wish we would have had a plate each for our shared wings but overall I would recommend.
