Good prices and usually has what I want already in store rather than having to order it. However, the method they use for giving discount to Blue Light Card holders is a bit bizarre and a pain to do. Instead of just having a button on their til that says "5% blue light discount", customers have to go into their Blue Light App, follow the Currys section to get to a gift vouchers website, where you can type in any multiple of 10 to get on a gift card, and you only pay 95% of the price (so saving 5%). So if the item you want doesn't cost a multiple of £10 you have to either overload it and have a few pounds left on it, or underload it and pay the remainder by cash or card 😑

Having used this store to collect online orders on a few occasions. My experience is very poor items are never ready to collect on time. The staff are extremely miserable and rude. Yet they advertise on tv about how their staff are trained. Basic customer service is clearly lacking.

You advertise stuff for sale then when you go IN STORE to view & buy it, guess what?!? They don’t have it !!!! Stand ( in my case sit ) and wait for some assistance and they do anything to avoid helping. I ain’t paying £500 for something when I can’t view it first! May as well shut the place down and let the homeless have another empty unit !

Unfortunately curry’s is not what it used to be in store, I shop online now mainly due to poor selection of products on display. My latest visit was no different. Unfortunately this is a self perpetuating problem and the shops don’t really want to stop it, online means less over heads and less staff cheaper running costs.

Why do you have stores?
I went into my local store and what i needed was not in stock, people wonder why are stores closing, its because they don't have any stock, Currys staff asked we can order it for you but you know i could of done this from home anyway and most probably not from currys, I can order online from another comany and get it delivered next day to my home, the things you have for sale should be in stock or people will stop coming to them.

We went to Curry's to purchase a TV. They did not have the one we wanted in stock, even though it was advertised for sale. We did purchase a TV, but it was more expensive than the one we wanted. This has happened to us frequently with other purchases. We had to wait some time before someone came to deal with us and the customer service was poor. No offer of assisting us to our car with it.

Curry's is shocking yo deal with. Can't get to speak to anyone in store. Bought a product which when opened was obvious it had been returned. It was dirty and had labels stuck on by previous owner. Webchat promised leigh branch would phone me. 2 days later not heard anything, took product back. Given a new one, got home instruction booklet missing. Web chat told me to download it - 58 pages!!!!! Needless to say it will go back next time I am passing and will get a refund. Will not shop with this store again

Pre ordered the new iPhone 14 pro max for release date was fine until o got a call to say that sober wasn’t gonna be in stock why let me preorder then ??? So changed colour to purple as they sad this one would be available for me as it’s a preorder I’ll get it real was day said come release day I go to the shop to find it wasn’t available and I can’t have it till the following Wednesday nearly a week later that’s a complete joke the staff was very unhelpful and didn’t wanna help in the slightest to resolve this issue never would I ever preorder using this place ever again.

Been sold a bundle online that isn't compatible, the in store staff did everything they could think of to refund me, even though the head office staff said it could not be done... careful what you buy online with currys....

Seems that Currys have gone right down hill in recent times. Went in for a Dyson hoover, can't get them, went in for a laptop, out of stock, went in for a Motorola phone, been out of stock for three months now, another Moto phone, out of stock, a Samsung phone, out of stock. You can order them online for delivery tomorrow but none in stock, some people want to physically hold and look at what they are buying not order online, they will be whinging when stores are closing but what do they expect when most things are out of stock? Bring back carphone warehouse, much better service, stop trying to cut costs at the expense of customer service.

Unable to pick up laptop I wanted, have to wait till it gets delivered to the store. Could have had it delivered to my home, but was only available to be delivered on an all day slot. Did not want to have to sit around possibly all day waiting for it.

I have been without a DVD player for many months and thought what the hell it's time to replace. It was priced at 24.99 and after help from an employee even though I thought I didn't want or need it! I purchased said item and at the checkout it was only 19.99? Happy chappy for a week now as I can play DVDs and CDs that I have been unable to do so so for a long time. If I die tomorrow I die happy. Wonderful when in store and paying your money, but when trying to find your missing item on your delivery the customer service is unnecessarily frustrating. I spent over a thousand pounds yet I cannot get anyone to speak to regarding my missing tumble dryer. I will not be shopping there anytime soon.

Large shop. Wide isles and good layout. A wide range of products. I bought a Shark True pet hoover. Customer service is good. Lady helped me for 10 minutes at the counter to help me find my order via my phone. Did not seem a problem to her. Very patient with me. Screens in place at checkout due to Covid. The place seems very organised. Someone near the door to welcome you and help find what you are looking for if needed. Parking not a problem as on large retail park. Surrounded by other shops. Home Bargains, KFC, Sports direct among others but to name a few. Wheelchair accessible.

Staff in store stood around in a group of four chatting.
People are allowed to have a social chat if the store was well presented however I found products missing shelf edge labels, product information tickets and products not demo ready. All in all a bit of a mess and the manager needs reprimanding for poor standard.
If it wasn’t the fact I did get acknowledged this would have been a one star review.

I dropped a laptop off for repair last week and today I went to collect it. Had been sent a link so I could track where my item was in the repair cycle and have had great communication throughout the whole experience. Staff in store were helpful, polite and friendly.
