We came into Nandos this evening during an overnight stay on our LEJOG cycle ride. On arriving Katie greeted us & informed us there would be a 10 minute wait. It was evident that the restaurant was very busy and this was not a problem for us. As it was a warm evening we asked to sit outside if possible and Katie said she would try her best to accommodate this. She kept us informed & sat us at an inside table when it was available & said she could move us outside when a table was free. In fact this happened very quickly & she escorted us outside. I had trouble ordering on the app & Katie helped with this too.
Food came very quickly & we both enjoyed our meal which was hot & tasty.
An enjoyable experience with thanks to Katie & Amelia our server.

First time in around 13 years we finally came back to Nandos, the food, service, cleanliness, the speed of service was absolutely top tier, guy called Stu saw to us, we explained it has been years since we dined here so he explained absolutely everything to us. the guy is a credit to Nandos, many thanks Stu (and the staff who cooked our food)

Hadnt been to Nandos in years. Novelty has well and truly gone. Was genuinely upset to have wasted money there. Some 'treat'. The chicken had freezer burn and was dry! If I wanted frozen dinners Id have stayed home. The embarrasment alone of takin my friend in there was too much and seeing the chicken was frozen, meant that a replacement would have been no better so just left it. Not often a place makes you think you should have just tried wetherspoons instead.

Me and my boyfriend regularly come to this Nando's and it is always great. This afternoon we decided to go and was served by a boy named callum. He was lovely, made sure everything was fine and had a great attitude towards us. Really bubbly personality. He is a great asset to your team:)

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. I have seen staff come and go over the years, yet my last few experiences have been the worst. I have been to a lot of Nando's restaurants all over the world (my Google reviews do show that), and the worst was my last visit on valentine's day, which has left a very bitter taste in my mouth.
2 days before Valentine's I came in with the intention of ordering a takeaway, and as I opened the door, a big tall lad (his ID badge wasn't visible) came rushing to the door and told us the restaurant is shut. This was before he could even hear why I was even entering the restaurant in the first place. There were a few people dining inside. I went away.
On valentine's day at 1930hrs, my family and I (3 of us) arrived at the restaurant with the intention of having a sit down meal. The same guy, was manning the door, he quickly said there was no tables, and they were not taking any sit downs/booking of any tables. We then decided to order a takeaway, which took about 20min to get ready. As I sat there, waiting for my takeaway order, he allowed 3 groups of people to book tables (first group had 2 ladies and a man), telling them there's a 45min wait. He never gave us the chance/opportunity to book or wait for a table. Whilst waiting, I could see him thanking all the customers that were leaving for using their restaurant; and when it came to me leaving, he didn't even look my way, he was still at the door. I felt targeted... Only God knows why, but I'm an average built, middle aged black man.
2 days later, I rang in to ask for a manager. I have spoken to a lot of managers in my life, and she's the most arrogant person I have ever spoken to, one would swear she owns the restaurant. She identified herself as Kim, and was very abrupt, challenging and speaking to me as if I'm one of her errands boys. I have never been spoken to like that, even my own parent doesn't demeaningly speak to me like that. She was doing her best to be biased, and challenging me for why i didn't act a certain way towards her colleague. She was winding me up, raising her voice, then blaming me for speaking to her the same way she did with me. She will benefit from customer service skills training, as her people skills leave a lot to be desired; because if that's how she conducts herself with other customers, I wouldn't be the only one driving to Walkden Nandos to avoid being disrespected by someone I'm giving my money to.
I couldn't take her arrogance anymore, and hung up the phone, and she had the audacity to ring back still going on about how she intended to help me. Upon asking her over and over for her immediate supervisor, she kept saying even if I complained against her, she'd be the one to investigate the complaint... If she's the highest person at Nando's headquarters, then definitely the company is being run down by a manager with poor interpersonal skills. She still didn't give me a complaints procedure till I gave up.
I'm not going back, and I'm pretty sure they won't miss me, but there might be more of us not attending that place, even if they give out food for free; who knows? they might even spit on my food.

The food was ok, it was cooked fine and was relatively tasty tbh. I got what I ordered with no bells and whistles. It was very busy, but somehow lacked any kind of atmosphere. Which is a shame as there is absolutely nothing wrong with the place, it's just not my cup of tea. The staff were all lovely and i could not fault them.

Worst Nandos experience I have ever had.
This place seems to essentially operate as a takeaway spot with in-restaurant customers seemingly being treated as secondary. Having to wait for more than an hour for food, without prior warning or alert, with my pregnant wife, was an absolutely horrendous experience. If we were informed ahead of time about the delays, my wife and I would not have come in, sat down, placed our orders and paid for our food knowing how long we would have had to wait.
The customer service was also extremely poor, with nobody being able to assist until I was visibly irritated and agitated and then I was referred to the manager. The food only came out after I had stood up for the 4th time to speak to a 4th member of staff who at that stage referred me to the manager. The manager then apologised saying they were really busy but called out the table number, and as if by magic, less than 5 minutes later our food appeared. This was also a trend for the guests on neighbouring tables who consistently had to stand up to complain before their food arrived. On the table to the left of us, one of them received their food and ate and even shared some of their food with their friend. 25 minutes later, and the other person's food still wasn't there, and we saw him stand up to complain, ask for a refund, and just leave without receiving his order.
It was by far the worst experience I have had in a Nandos after being an avid customer and visiting various branches all across England for more than 15 years. To give a further example, a drink was spilled on the floor beside us prior to when we arrived, and a cone was placed there and we were told to "watch out". Rather than mop or clean up the spill somehow, the cone was just left there indefinitely till I had to get a paper napkin myself and clean it up, but even then, nobody came to clear up the mess after, as staff just walked past and ignored it.
It was a really poor experience, and I definitely would not recommend this branch of Nandos to anyone.

Absolutely awful. Waited 40 mins, then they forgot our starters, gave us cold mains and by the time we actually got any ‘decent’ food we didn’t even want it any more. 2 other tables sat next to us also didn’t get their food/was waiting over an hr. Terrible service & terrible food.

My husband and I visited Nandos Leigh this evening and found it to be a really pleasant experience.
We have been to several different Nandos and this has been the cleanest and most comfortable one by far.
We were served by very pleasant accommodating staff and did not have to wait long for the food.
Food was cooked to perfection, the chicken perfectly moist and flavoursome and the sides also perfect.
Rhi, the manager I think in particular offered an outstanding service. She was very polite, approachable and attentive. You can see how she looks after her customers with a great deal of care and kindness like most staff in this particular Nando’s.
We commented on how lovely this Nandos was and how we would rather travel out to this branch rather than others.
I highly recommend this place and wouldn’t leave a review like this unless I had a really good experience which I did.
We look forward to visiting again soon.

Being honest, this is probably one of the worst nandos I've ever been to. When we got to the place, it took us a while to be seated with multiple staff members looking over and walking past without seating us. Eventually, we got seated, the table was clean and we ordered our food which was fine... until the food came.
The chips were undercooked, and my partners chips had a very funky taste to them. My garlic bread was overdone and quite dry. However, the chicken was done pretty well.
The atmosphere of this nandos wasn't amazing. The table structure made it very uncomfortable and awkward as lots of people were walking past our table constantly, and it was right in the middle of the establishment without any sort of barriers. We ended up leaving early and went somewhere else for dessert.
Considering they've put their prices up for a normal meal we were quite disappointed with both the food and the customer service

Hi . Food good ..big shout out to Jake , great service introduced me to the nandos card . I'm a bit pissed as been to nandos 3 times in last month at other sites and no one mentioned the card ( I would of had a free gift already ) but thx Jake who offered , logged this meal and explained what I needed to do online . All done and first points loaded .

Absolutely our of this world customer service. Our dessert order didn't go through because of Internet signal and instead they put the order through for us at the table and then said it was on them. I explained how i had just been to my grandmas funeral and that the gesture was greatly appreciated considering the mood of the day.

Food is delicious as always, however this is the second visit in a row where they have ran out of menu items, including garlic bread, rice, and butter. I’m unsure if it’s a covid supply chain issue, or the managers needs some retraining on food ordering and stock levels.

We had to wait outside for 40 minutes. Over half the tables where empty and no one was ever sat at them. When asked if we could sit on one of the many empty tables they said there would be the same wait. At least we would of been sat down inside with a drink. Disappointing experience.

The new system of ordering online is ridiculous, the website is user unfriendly, the need to provide personal data to have a piece of chicken sounds like a bad joke.
The new menu is worse than the old one and you can't even have a cup of coffee - they don't sell it anymore!!

This place is awsome. I really liked the way the have setted it out and the food is just amazing. It is one of my first try in nandos and i reallly liked the food. The chicken was well cooked and the fries are perfect. I had even tried the burger which was ok because the bun seems to be a bit hard. But in total review i just loved the place and the food is amazing. I Recomend nandos for everyone who seeks good food
