Last 6 times I went to Argos Leigh.On each occasion they product was out of stock one word unbelievable.

I came to this shop to return my dash-cam (which i bought two months ago), because it stopped recording. I took a video of the dash-cam not working. I spoke to the first lady at Argos and she said that I have to call the dash-cam brand. I spoke to the dash-cam company over the phone whilst still at the shop and they said that the retailer has to take it back. I told the lady at the counter, this and she said that she has a cold and she can’t deal with me.
I spoke to the another lady and she said that I have to speak to the dash cam company. I told her that i already did that and she said she needs it in writing. I rang the dash cam company again and said that I need email. The lady at the dash cam sent me email and I showed it to the lady at the counter.
Overall, I experienced really bad customer service. A simple return which should have taken 10-20 mins, took over 1.5 hours.

Mon - Sat 8am - 21.30pm
Sun 10.30am - 4.30pm.
We are not open till 10pm as shown on google.

It's several years since I first reviewed this store and we'll .... it isn't there anymore .... but it is close by. As most people will now know, since it's acquisition by Sainsbury's, it is now located on the upper floor of the supermarket 200 hundred yards away. Nothing much has changed other than like so many businesses it's focus has been moved on line so click and collect is prominent. That said, the system is easy to navigate, prices have become much more competitive with the online giants and if they don't have it in stock, order early enough and it will be there later that day or at the latest tomorrow. The staff are as helpful as they have always been and for us at least, Sainsbury's is our go to so couldn't be more convenient. I find I'm using them more and more.
The staff have always been helpful and friendly. Service is quick. Parking is right by the entrance. If you have purchased something bulky or heavy they will always take it out to the car for you.

Purchased a shaver on 8th May 2021 the box was damaged and they admitted it was a return. Who wants to buy a returned shaver. It had been fully charged so clearly been used. I received a refund. A staff member told me that this is common practice for Argos. Won't be shopping again at Argos.

Take £150 out of my partner’s account and not given her the product, there line has been busy all morning and there customer service is disrespectful and appalling. Would strongly recommend to take your business elsewhere.

After 6 months and countless phone calls asking for someone to come and repair/review a faulty freezer, it's still broken and no one has been round. They simply DO NOT GIVE A **** about their customers. Even if you were last retailer in business, I would rather have an empty home. It's BEYOND DESPICABLE.

Disgusting customer service. Bought a dog bed last night, tried to take it back after it was listed as large and didn’t even fit a puppy boxer dog so was really small. They refused me returning the item as said it looked used, even though I bought it the evening before & hadn’t even had it 15 hours. Disgraceful. And considering the time we’re going through, the staff were so so rude, especially manager ‘Deb’ who literally came out to talk to me for 1 second and just rudely said ‘nope and wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say’ I tried to explain that I hadn’t had it for even a day and she just dismissed me so rudely. I’m appalled. DO NOT USE THIS ARGOS!! Or Argos in general if they’re all like that! Horrible service. Horrible staff.
